This place is amazing! My family and I drive all the way from Elizabeth to eat here and it’s worth the drive every time!! Their crunchy roll is simply amazing and the chicken teriyaki meal is great as well! The service is great and I highly recommend Picnic! Best sushi place in NJ!

I am very underwhelmed with the sushi here. Price is high for what it is. Location is nice. I wish the quality would match the location.

as my boyfriend and i are paying, the lady at the front was asking us if we’re going to remove our tattoos when we’re older, and was judging us so heavily for having them. it’s one thing to not agree with having tattoos and it’s another to make me so uncomfortable as i’m eating at YOUR restaurant. what type of customer service??? she could’ve kept her opinions to herself . It was my second and last time going. didn’t know i needed to not have tattoos to feel comfortable eating at a hole in the wall sushi place. The sushi is cheap because it’s mid. you get what you pay for. so many better places out there that are 1. more upscale 2. the sushi quality is better 3. wont make you feel uncomfortable -_-

Very good food, I enjoyed our selection of the all you can eat but was very turned off with their predatory charges for using a card. If you use a card, they charge $5 extra for each person. If that wasn’t enough, they then charge an additional 3.5% to the overall bill to use card. So just two people alone has to pay an additional $15 to use a card and about $30 for 4 people.

Had all you can eat. Didnt like the apps at all and the sushi tasted nice but not the best. Its now almost 12 hours later and i feel sick. Sadly giving low rating.

This is my second time try out Pincnic. Last time the sashimi was average it was about two years ago. And I give this place another try last Sunday for dinner because it was closer by where I live and my usual Japanese restaurants closed on Sundays.
I am a sashimi lovers and this is definitely the worse sushi/sashimi I ever had. Especially their sashimi scallops. I was surprised the restaurant used bay scallops for sashimi dish??? I told the waitress these little scallops not too fresh. But she didnt do anything about it. My money totally wasted. I was too afraid to eat their sashimi and the cut of sashimi do not look right either. Never come back again for sure!

kinda funny

Not bad, very basic spot. Really more so the kind of place you go to get full for a better price, the quality/flavor isn't bad but definitely lacking.
