Fantastic authentic Korean food and also very popular in the fort lee area as tables are almost never empty throughout the day as far as I know. This differs from kbbq places as they serve more advanced level korean food for patrons. There is no grill on the table so keep that in mind. We have been here on multiple occasions and have tried many menu items with flavors that are out of this world. This is the kinda of business that will be handed down for generations if they own...
I've fallen in love with Korean restaurants lately. The food isn't too salty, it's healthy, the meat broth is rich, and the quality of the meat is excellent. The staff are also very friendly; they come to me before I even call them, offering more side dishes and asking if I need anything. They're the best! Especially if you're visiting for the first time, I recommend trying the boiled pork platter, spicy chicken stew, pork bone soup, and spicy stir-fried...
Dakbokkeumtang was amazing! Spicy, bold, and perfect for blowing away stress. The rich broth with potatoes was 😋
Gamjatang was a bit disappointing 🥲 not much meat and the broth wasn’t as clean as I like.
Next time, I’m definitely trying their popular grilled mackerel! 🙆♀️
