Being Korean, I’ve had my fair share of K-chicken, both in Korea and here in the U.S., and honestly, there are times when this place outshines some of the spots back home. #1 Korean chicken place! On my second try on none other than Super Bowl Sunday at 6:30pm (aka too late), they delivered within 1 hour via Grubhub and won me over with their amazing chicken. Not sure why I didn't remember it as much first time around 2 yrs ago, but I'm glad I tried them again. Ppuring chicken (5/5) - Ordered whole chicken 1/2, and as many said, this is savory, sweet & with a hint of delicious kick that you won't expect. Whole chicken gives you good bang for the buck, though you need to break it up a bit. Loved it. Sweet & Spicy Wings (4/5) - Yes, this one has a nice kick with loads of awesome old-skool K-chicken wing yangnyum sauce. Still crunchy somehow under all that sauce! Nicely garlicky too. Snowing Cheese Fries (5/5) - Man, I know wife said it looks unhealthy and heavy but I don't care... fries were not greasy but full of potato flavor and dare I say chewy... with generous coat of that amazing cheese powder delivering the subtle sweet with savory! I really didn't think I would enjoy this as much as I did. Yes, this is heavy-duty fries. I only ate 5 hefty ones each time alongside the chicken. I'm feeling happy rn because I still got like 5 left in my fridge.😜 Okay, it's definitive now - no one comes close to Yam Yam Chicken when it comes to K-fried chicken in this area! Bye bye don, pelicana, & bbq - it was nice knowing you guys. I'll be calling again real soon & you should too for your next chicken feast.
I visited for the first time today after the change in ownership, and I was impressed by how much better the taste is compared to before. My whole family really loved it! The flavor was far superior to most Korean franchise stores, and it reminded me of the delicious chicken I used to enjoy in Korea—truly the best!

Here is the best so far. Very crispy, juicy and Tasty. Can’t go wrong. I recommend soy garlic and crispy wings with sweet & Spicy sauce on the side.
Small mom and pop chicken spot, SO good. Ordered the cheese snow wings - 10pcs was more than enough for 2 people. The wings were huge and generously coated in cheese snow powder! (had to snap a pic as I was really surprised) Also came with a side of sauce that paired really nicely with the wings. Their pickled radish was extremely crunchy and refreshing. The chicken remained crispy even after an hour drive home. Wish they had a location in NYC, but will definitely be back next time!
First of all, the chicken radish had no taste at all, so I sprinkled vinegar on it and ate the seasoned chicken, but my throat felt sore, perhaps because the seasoning was strong? This is my first time eating chicken like this.
