Great atmosphere inside and out and plenty to look around at! The food was very good and they had a good beer selection! The smoked Turkey is highly recommended!

Very overpriced food. I paid $15 for a small margarita and tasted no tequila. $115 bill for 1 sandwich, 1 entree, 1 appetizer, 2 margaritas, 1 dessert.

My husband and I took our three children to see the Christmas lights, and then we decided to grab a bite to eat at the Double S Smokehouse located at Augusta, N.J. We sat down at the table, and we were confronted by the waitress who stated that the cans of soda that the children had could not be brought in. Mind you, I have a 3 year old little girl who went ballistic when trying to grab the can away. My husband was amicable and stated that we were going to order a large meal and that the drinks were nearly empty and if they would just look it over. The waitress left, and 2 min later, the owner came to our table with an attitude holding plastic cups and began to raise his voice, stating how he's the owner, and he sets the policy. I decided to leave, and the owner started to tell my husband how I was being rude. My husband immediately told him that this was not a big deal about the cans of soda. The owner became irate and began to tell my husband how he's been in business for 25 years and so on. My husband started to leave when the owner tried to stand in my husband's way of passage, trying to intimidate my husband. My husband has been in the Army for 10 years with infantry. He is not easily intimidated at all. My husband stood in his face and told that Fat Tub of Lard to "Move, you're blocking my path!" My husband kept saying God bless you to the owner. That's how my husband keeps a cool head. The owner then began to follow us out of the restaurant while my husband was carrying our 3 year-old in his arms, trying to calm her down. We literally just got home after we had dinner at a very good restaurant. This whole time, I wanted to leave a warning to others. After first reading all the reviews before posting mine. I realized we were the lucky ones. This owner, aka Fat Tub of Lard as my husband says to me; has a litany of bad reviews. I can attest that owner has serious anger issues. We weren't there long enough to eat anything. This whole thing lasted about 10 min from when we sat to our exit. I'm glad we didn't spend a penny on that absolutely abhorrent horrible owner or place. I truly would recommend WaWa before stepping foot there again. I Don't need to say anything more.

Took over an hour and a half to get our food. No manager in sight, no explanation why it took so long. Absolutely horrible experience.

Sat for 20+ minutes. No water, no drink order. No anything. We had to leave, no choice. Good luck.

I enjoyed the ambience and servers of the restaurant, however, when served with food that I was disappointed with, the “daughter of the manager” sent to me to discuss this basically stated ‘too bad’, she did not offer an alternate replacement or to take the charge off the bill. Horrible way to treat your customers. I will not go back.

I was SO excited to come here with my family and enjoy a great meal! We saw so many amazing things on the menu, I thought for sure I'd be back again and again! Unfortunately, I was very unhappy with an ALL fat filled (brisket) empanada and didn't eat any of the plate- they did nothing about it, said oh well you will still be charged. Glad to know I will NEVER be back!

We had eaten here before and the food was excellent. However, we returned with a party of five this time, and the brisket was different on every plate ranging from moist and juicy to completely dry and overcooked. It was a huge disappointment. Also the servers were doing their best to keep up with a full room but we definitely waited longer than we should have had to even place our order.

While the steak was tasty, the steak sandwich only had one slice of streak on it. A little skimpy for $19. Chicken sandwich was just okay. A little pricey for the portions and probably won’t be back any time soon.

Everything we had was good. We had the sampler, with an order of brisket. The only thing that wasn't too good was the sangria.

Giving this place one star only because the hostess was great, however, we ordered tenders off the kids menu which were RAW— YES RAW and some of my husbands ribs were raw as well. Thankfully, I have to cut my kids tenders so I was able to catch it before they ate it. No one approached my table to even apologize about serving raw chicken after having given it back to the food runner until the new order of tenders came out then we got an “I’m sorry about that” from the server. Will definitely not be coming here again, but please check your food before eating it if you decide to give this place a try.
