Franklin Lakes Country Cafe

Ate here years ago. Not since it changed hands. Got basic chicken sandwiches with fresh mozz n peppers. And 2 others got other chicken sandwiches. All were made to order. Delicious flavor and brought out rather quick. Will eat here again for sure.

Great Breakfast and Service. Good people who are making good food.

I went in to make my order I have never been so offended and all my life I ordered egg whites and avocado, which is a typical breakfast. The waitress didn’t realize it was my order and started to criticize the order saying eww who would eat avocado, and egg whites gross. I said to her excuse me mess that is my order you’re talking about and she could care less. She said that’s disgusting. First of all commenting on somebody’s order is wrong and you need to watch what you say. Also she had her hands with no gloves, touching all the cookies in the cookie jar while I was standing there waiting for my food I give this place a zero.

Weird place. Had breakfast there and when we walked in we were greeted by a young woman who seemed thoroughly annoyed that we breath the same air as her, ok so be it, but sometimes a hello and half a smile goes a long way. She then sits us down at a table that obviously wasn't cleaned from prior use. I had pancakes that were so-so, my wife had a breakfast burrito that she said was fantastic..Overall, the staff seems miserable, and the place is filthy. Maybe just a bad day. It is nicely decorated and in a great location. I will go back, but not to get pancakes with the fake syrup they serve.

Parking: Zero veg options but that's because no on orders them I guess.

Food is passable, coffee was nice and hot and a roadside spot in residential Bergen County has a certain appeal. Service is apathetic. And at 6 feet 5 inches, I'm not sure how the girl seating patrons thought it would be a good idea to put me at the tightest table in the place, crammed up by the front door, when there were two other more comfortable two-tops open and ready to go. Wearing yoga shorts to work is cute and all, but do you NOT want my money? Lazy.

Cozy place (the restaurant itself not the service) and the food is fast. The woman who owns the joint is nice and efficient. Some of the other staff is hit or miss. You can tell they’re not experienced with customer service, and you get a sense they don’t really care—just collecting a paycheck for a temporary gig.My order has been wrong with no suggestion they make a new, correct one. I had what looked like avocado on the side of a dish that wasn’t supposed to have it. Sometimes they have certain ingredients; sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they’re fresh; sometimes they aren’t.All in all, I give this place a C+/B-. Go in with the expectation that there may be a few hiccups, and you’ll be fine. It’s probably a new establishment and they’re learning. It’s a pretty good experience overall, and you feel like you’re genuinely in a country cafe.

What a great place. I moved into the area almost 5 yrs ago. When I pass the place I say I have to stop. Well I did and so happy I did. Such a friendly staff as I had questions. Food was great, I mean great. I mean this is really a gem that should be visited . I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

Small but cozy inside. I like space, we sat outside at a picnic table.**Look at your bill. Their system doesn't allow you to put a tip AFTER they run your card. Make sure they tax the food total and NOT your tip. The woman helping me did do the right thing after I pointed it out

So I drive trucks for a living & ran across this place once before on a delivery early morning stopped in for breakfast sandwich & ???? ?! So happen to drive by it today in an afternoon delivery so decided to stop in on way back for lunch for quick bite made it simple ordered a bacon cheeseburger & a peach ice tea oh & 2 oatmeal cookies for the diet?, I usually rarely leave reviews but THE BACON CHEESEBURGER WAS SO ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS & I MEAN SUPER DELICIOUS THAT I HAD TO GOOGLE THE PLACE & LEAVE A REVIEW! #phenomenalBURGER!!!

Delicious food. Highly recommend!
