I’m not sure why they do not have more reviews. But I’m always here once or twice a month getting their sandwiches. They are always nice to me and helpful when I ask about things. From a Non- Italian that enjoys Italian cuisine.

Our usual catering spot sold and we had to find a new spot. All I can say is WOW! I’m so glad we tried D’Angelos. We got catering for my son’s birthday and everything was absolutely amazing!! The portions were huge for the price and we had leftovers to enjoy! This will definitely be our new go to spot for Italian catering!

I always drive by but this time I was hungry so I figured to make a stop. It is awesome in here. So much good fresh food. I went with the honey mustard chicken because that is always a must. Delicious. The buffalo meatballs were also a unique item that weren’t overally spicy but had just the right mix. The zeke sandwich with hot roast beef cheddar sauce and au jus was ridiculous. Chicken cutlets also solid. Come here and you will find something you like.

Amazing. We had catering, got six feet of sandwiches three kinds. The woman on the phone were so helpful and nice. They delivered and the food was exceptional, not skimpy fresh large pieces, so much food.100000% recommend.

Went in to pick up food for dinner with my family. We are not the type to complain or write reviews. But when I tell you the food was absolutely horrible I mean it was inedible. All of it. As if it was sitting out for days before it was sold. We threw everything out after one bite. $80 (completely overpriced), down the drain. Broccoli was rotten and ruined the entire pasta dish, all of the meat was fishy tasting. Chicken was pink, meatballs were just horrible. Worst tasting food I’ve ever had, this place gets worse and worse every time we come in. Lost a customer.

I catered Christmas Eve dinner for 20 people from D'Angelo and EVERYTHING was fantastic. Pick up was organized and convenient, they walked my trays to my car and loaded it. My guests raved about the food and it was my easiest Christmas hosting ever.

Just have to say we enjoy MOST Of the food we get from here, some of the items are salty but for the most part the items we get we always enjoy and kind of know what not to get lol. Their staff is considered unfriendly and I can see where one would find that to be so. I happened to stumble across an old friend who works there that used to own another italian deli years ago and he is always pleasant to me and goes out of his way to be helpful but I feel thats probably because we go way back. Most everyone else goes about their day there never with a smile or a friendly look but for me thats ok, im not there to have fun lol im there to get my stuff and go. I do feel they all work pretty hard and the presentation of food is always top notch when I have been inside and it is extremely clean which is a big plus for me. We have had several orders catered from here as well to my office they have always been attentive with that and on time or early and the food has been MORE than plentiful and always hot and delicious. Ive seen some of the other negative reviews and I can fully understand where they come from lol I just always seem to find a different experience when we go and I overlook a lot of the stuff others consider rude. Attached are some of the wonderful catering dishes we have had over the past few years! Certainly one of the best if not the best italian markets in Freehold.
