I was in the area and tried Fancy Cakes for the first time. They sold out of a cupcake my wife specifically wanted but they were able to make one up on the spot without hesitation. The product itself was amazing! Hands down the best cupcakes in the Monmouth/Middlesex County area. Thank you!

UPDATE: Krystina quickly responded to the original review to say that she wished I had called instead of leaving a 2-star review because of her relationship with our venue.The reason we kept trying so hard to work with Fancy Cakes was because our venue spoke very highly of them, and of Krystina herself. I wish FC could take responsibility for not communicating better about their response times, availability, and options.2/12/24Seeing all these reviews about how great the communication is, I hope others have a better experience than we have had. We reached out to schedule a tasting, and it took Krystina 3 days to get back to us. Fancy Cakes tasting availability is on W/F from 11am-2pm, so I emailed Krystina some questions before taking time off work to drive an hour away for a tasting, but it's been 6 days with no response ?♀️

So embarrassed for a friend who came for dinner last night and brought beautiful cupcakes from Fancy Cakes. Unfortunately they looked good but tasted awful. We have never had drier cupcakes. All four were inedible and went in the trash. Surely these were not cheap, we felt so bad for her.

I ordered a three-tiered cake for my daughter’s 18th birthday because I saw their designs on Instagram. The cake was beautifully decorated. However, the flavor of the cake was terrible! The cake was dry and tasted nothing like chocolate. None of the guests ate the cake. I spent over $600 on the cake. I sent an email about my experience and no one from management offered any apologies!

I stopped in to pick up a ready made cake for my daughters birthday. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. The cake was decorated absolutely beautifully! I was very excited until we ate the cake. It was dry and crumbly and overly sweet. $45 and no one ate it other than a first bite or two. I won't be going back

I reached out to this bakery to set up a cake order. The process was super simple and they are so kind and helpful. We had the cake delivered yesterday. It was chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. All I can say is - wow! Not only was the cake stunning, it tasted incredible. The cake was moist with an amazing flavor. The frosting was smooth and was delicious. It added a layer of special to the day. I highly recommend this business and will to anyone who asks!

Krystina is amazing. From communication to the product delivery this place is the best. Krystina did such an amazing work for my baby shower cake. The picture i sent her, cake was 100% better than that picture and she made same theme cupcakes. Cake was delicious, everyone was talking about it and asked me where did i get it from. I will definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to make their day special.

Review on the cupcakes only. I came in to pick some cupcakes and got a bunch. There were a few creative flavors and they were decent. I found the cake part to be a little dry. There is a good amount of frosting on it and you can see they know how to decorate. Seems to be more of a custom cake type place so I would give it a try for that.
