I am not surprised that they closed. I ate here for many years and loved it. I went for lunch a couple of months ago and it was nothing like it used to be. Food was old and the sushi area was modest. I told the waitress that the crab salad was spoiled and instead of apologizing and removing it immediately, she stood around and 15 minutes later someone from the kitchen brought some more out. It was clear that this place did not care about service, quality, or consistency.

To start the place isn't very clean or well taken care of. The food was old but I ate it to make the best of a bad situation. I asked where the coconut shrimp was and was given attitude and then told they were out. I asked to speak to the manager because of the attitude I was given and I was told " there's no manager". And after a big blowup and making a scene they bring some out. I have never been treated so bad at a restaurant before. Save your money and go elsewhere.

They should pay attention to cleaning the bathrooms and the restaurant in general. sometimes the food is cold. the sushi must be fresh and it is not

They need to watch the food areas more. Too many people touching food with their hands or people tasing the sauces by drinking from the ladels. Buffets attract the most disgusting animals I guess. Shame, since the Mongolian stuff is pretty good

The Freehold Grand Buffet is now permanently closed, at least it looks permanent, lights out and doors locked. The folks here who say it's been horrible for years, but that they keep going back, will likely be disappointed. They should try the green vegetable market next door, which is a great find.

The place is now Closed. My guess is they stopped serving crab legs during the week and business dropped off. That, or they were raided

Please do yourself a favor and keep driving. I like Chinese buffets but this one was pretty bad everything was greasy except for the deep-fried sushi which was dry. I don't think I need to go on I really can't Can't imagine how this place stays open

I use to love this place I don't know what happened but the quality is just horrible now. Burnt food, cheap quality food, dried sushi (which was probably made in the morning and just sits out all day) I called three times before going and when I got there, there's an employee just siting on his IPad. I've never left a buffet hungry before. Most of the food is not edible I had the clams and took one bite and spit it back out I don't know if they were old or what but they felt weird, tasted weird I thought I was going to be sick. (Just want to mention I love seafood and have eaten clams before I don't know how those passed for clams) health inspector really needs to visit I don't know how they're still in business. Either fire your cook and hire someone new or close your business I don't know how a restaurant owner can serve food this horrible it's embarrassing.

It is a Chinese buffet, lower quality. It reminded me of one i went to in Brick once, so I gave it 4 instead of 3 stars purely for nostalgia. The food was good but has that low quality Chinese buffet food thing about it where you like it or you don't. Crab legs had tons of salt on it, which was a great thing.
Went on Christmas day. Food was cold and burnt and wasn't replenished . I brought it to the attention to the cashier. I nicely told them do they could fix the problem . His response "don't eat it". "you are not getting a discount". I must have stood there with my jaw to the floor. Really? Great customer service. When I asked him his name .He said it was personal information . I will never go there ever and will make sure noone goes. The food horrible .I got sick after the doup .Bad food bad service!!!!!!!

this place has really gone downhill. just came on a friday night at 630 and there was no food. half the sushi wells were closed amd the other barely had any. one full row for hot food was closed. everything was practically empty. wen asked to get more of things they all looked at eachother like uhhhhh i dont know. we told them we were leaving and left. very disappointing. prime friday night dinner hours. i guess thats y they were empty.

Absolutely atrocious! Will never eat there again... the majority of the food was super greasy, not fresh, very bland and the service was absolutely horrendous. You can always tell the quality of a food place by the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I was afraid to touch the door handle as I exited. Shortly after eating I was in the bathroom with a very upset stomach and praying that I don't have food poisoning. Like the old school freestyle song "play at your own risk".

Food is good - and plentiful. Good selection, but it is almost always the same. Never to crowded that you have to wait - and as it is a buffet, you're eating in no time. Lots of parking.

The food was cold the Lomain was hard and the bathrooms are dirty.Also the service was hard to understand.When you walk in it's good but when you have to go to the bathroom I would rather go in my pants.Also they don't have much food for the size of the place.
