The ice cream is great staff is friendly and quick prices are cheap plenty of places to sit the line moves really fast so don't be intimidated by the line

Came today with my daughter 10/29/25
Freehold location . Came in got online left side of store close to parking lot . One man infront of me . To the right was a Mexican family of five people . A very nice server male was speaking to them to explain what things were . There was 5 other girls . All working on there order . The girl who did a milkshake for man infront of me was done with him and walked away . I mean away . No I’m closing no I’m on brake she dissapeared . I waited patiently over 10 minutes with six others behind me now . Same five girls helping the one family as a line of us accumulated other side . Eventually I thought not worth it for the price I went to ShopRite got sugar free bryers ice cream and sugar free toppings . I will not be back . I frequent this place often but after today I will not ever again . The girl who walked away I saw on side of building sitting down . She either finished her shift without saying anything to the line of us and none of the other five girls thought to slide over and take care of the line instead five girls to help one family or kid a guy who was translating and my girl was chilling side of building sipping on some drink . Very poorly managed and very rude of this employee . You lost a customer which obviously no one cares about . This accursed about 5pm .

I’ve been going here for 30 years and it’s a staple to our county. The food is hit-the-spot greasy, the ice cream is delicious and the establishment is run so efficiently and quickly. We lovvvveeee the waffle fries. We eat turkey burgers now but back in the day the beer battered shrimp or chicken fingers were great. For dessert we always do the chocolate soft serve with chocolate sprinkles. Never disappoints.
One of the best ”old-timey” ice cream shops in NJ. Creative shakes that change monthly - love the local collaboration shakes with Battleview Orchards and other eateries in the area. Apple Cider Shake, Cannoli Shake and Churro shakes were fantastic. Not cloyingly sweet, just right 🤤
