Food quality was excellent and service was great. We ordered two dishes — salmon and chicken — and both were very well seasoned and had appropriate portions. We also ordered cappuccinos and creme brûlée which was excellent. Ben, the manager, came over several times to make sure our service was excellent. I will definitely be back.
My wife and I recently had a fabulous overall dining experience at La Cipollina in Freehold. First, we were extremely impressed with our server Ben, who was very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive, but allowed our dinner to flow naturally...just perfect. He was also extremely professional and personable. Next, the food was simply outstanding. Our calamari appetizer was fresh and cooked perfectly, and we were treated to another course of homemade mozzarella and fresh vegetables...
Service excellent, one of the best bolognese dishes I have eaten. My 2 complaints, the restaurant was not crowded yet the parking lot on rear was full. If this is their property then they need to police who parks there. Number 2. The menus could not have been any smaller and a little confusing to figure out. However, definitely put it on your list.
