Nice bakery got a 35 dollar cake out of the refrigerator for my daughter bday it was white cake somekind of white cream inside and white butter cream they said on the outside it was a small cake for that price the cake didn't taste very fresh the outside of the cake tasted like melted crayons the icing just was not good everyone threw away the outside of the cake and ate the cream inside which was pretty good ... sorry if your the owner I would of liked to of known before I bought a cake here ... I hope others have had much better luck plus with the 2 candles I think it came very close to 40.00 to me it def was not worth the money

They had lots of cakes and beautiful breads and cookies. Some of the cookies were quite brown. I bought a variety of chocolate and raspberry filled cookies. I decided to eat some on my way home and, even though the cookie itself was very tender, the raspberry filling was so hard I had a difficult time biting through it. I decided to try a fudge-filled one and again the cookie was okay but the fudge was dry and crumbling. I was pretty disappointed. Unfortunately I threw the rest out when I got home.

La Dolce baked the most beautiful and delicious cake for my daughter's baby shower on Sunday. The theme was "A Little Pumpkin is on the Way." The inside cake was chocolate and vanilla with chocolate mousse and raspberry fillings. Little dollops of pumpkin icing were on top. One of the best cakes I ever ate in my life! My guests could not stop talking about how good it was. We had 30 people and there was barely anything left. I showed Marianne, the owner, a picture of the cake, and it turned out better than I expected (see below). I highly recommend this bakery!
I told my husband I only wanted one thing for my birthday this year....a cake to celebrate my youth. I told him what I wanted for my cake and he made it happen. It came out so beautiful and tasted so good! Everyone loved it and definitely will order future cakes with them!

They make my kids cakes, my sunday dinner Italian bread always comes from LA Dolce. Marianne, Joe, Elaine and Barbara are so helpful & like family now. I love them & their generosity, everything in the shop is so fresh & delicious!!

Stopped in on a Friday, looking for a birthday cake for my mother's party the next day. Happy to have found such a great bakery! Moving recently from Bergen County, we are used to a number of great Italian bakeries in the area. So happy we've found one here! We had their Vanilla Cannoli Cake and sampled a number of pastries - delicious Cannolis, Eclairs and everyone's favorite - their Napoleon. And the cake was terrific! Look forward to coming back soon and trying some other things there.
