The food was great but service was awful We had a reservation but stood at the seating podium for a half hour before we were acknowledged Food was great but we had no dishes, no napkins and the appetizers came out after the main course Maybe just stick to take out from here

Accidentally booked a regular table instead of hibachi. My mistake but they told us we could get hibachi without the live chef. Food took forever to come out. Soup came after the meal and was awful. Hibachi tasted like petroleum. Nobody wanted to eat their meal. My poke bowl was lukewarm. The only decent thing was the edemame. Waitress was oblivious. Asked us what we already received so she could complete order.

Roman provided a wonderful chef experience. The portions and food quality were outstanding, and we always enjoy our time there.

Waited over 40 minutes for a cook, sushi roll was forgotten but thankfully we weren't charged for it. The soup and salad tasted a bit off like they were sitting for a long time. Wouldn't recommend

We go here all the time. We have 5 little ones, all under 7 and we normally don’t like to go out to eat. The staff is always willing to help and makes us feel welcome. Great service.

I was part of a party of 15 this past Sunday night. Funny enough, we were all planning to write reviews that night, but watching Monday Night Football tonight reminded us how great Lauren was…… and my wife is making sure I followed through so I’m leaving my review. (Detail oriented )

To be honest, we had stopped coming here because the service had been terrible….. A friend made the reservation, so we reluctantly agreed….and I’m glad we did, because Lauren completely changed our minds. The last time I was here, I swore I’d never come back. If it wasn’t for our friend’s birthday, you wouldn’t have caught me in this restaurant. Our previous server had been rude and made us feel like asking for a simple refill was a huge inconvenience. The place felt dead and boring.

This visit was a complete 180…. and that was entirely because of Lauren.

From the second she greeted our table, I knew it was going to be a good time. I was wearing a Giants sweatshirt, one of my buddies is a Cowboys fan, and she immediately jumped in joking about football. She was entertaining, fun, efficient, and incredibly genuine. What really stood out was her honesty,you don’t come across people like that often.

Lauren didn’t just take care of us…. she stopped by nearby tables, chatted with everyone, and gave each group her full attention. She was amazing with the kids…. You can tell she’s a parent… she is patient, kind, and genuinely engaging. By the time we were leaving, she was up front helping kids feed the fish, making sure everyone left laughing or happy.

The owner, Johnathan, was there when we were leaving but was on the phone, so we didn’t get the chance to tell him how incredible Lauren was with not only our group, but every one in the restaurant. Every one of us was talking about how great Lauren was afterward. She single-handedly made me want to come back, and I will……. but only if she’s our server. She makes this place a whole lot better. (And yes, we’ll still give her a hard time for being a KC fan — she can take it 😄)

We had an amazing hibachi experience, and a big part of that was our server, Lauren. From the moment we sat down, she made the atmosphere comfortable, fun, welcoming and full of energy, not just for us, but for every guest. She struck the perfect balance between being attentive while remaining professional throughout the meal and letting us enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.

Lauren was incredibly accommodating with everyone’s preferences, and allergies, making sure each and every guest felt heard and taken care of. She made sure everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of regardless if she was your server or not. Her service added so much to the overall experience Her positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm really elevated the entire meal and added to the overall atmosphere of the night and restaurant

My kids also loved Roman our hibachi chef, he made everyone laugh, sing, and went the extra mile for us. The nerf Saki gun for us adults was fantastic. Lauren and Roman truly made the experience for us fantastic!.

We were blown away watching how Lauren would go above and beyond by stopping by each table to chat with guests, making everyone feel welcome, engaging, and fulfilling requests for guests regardless if it was her table or not.

What really stood out was how thoughtful she was with the kids—regardless of how busy she was, she took time to walk my kids over to feed the fish, which they absolutely loved. Her genuine care, attention to everyone, and positive energy ensured that everyone left smiling. It was beyond exceptional service that made the entire experience memorable. We’ll definitely be back. Her personality, energy added so much to the overall experience—we highly recommend her! Thank you Lauren!

The chef was disturbing. He came to the table sweating terribly, wiping his sweat with his sleeve and seemingly sick or disoriented. My son asked him if he was ok and he made a joke and then said he was just overheated. I wanted to get up and leave fearing that he was possibly sick. When he started cooking, he put on a fan that is so cold it makes the food cold. By the time the meat was prepared, everything on the plate was cold, and it took no time for the meat to be cold as well. so I have been to hibachi restaurants where the portion sizes were a bit larger. Overall, I don't think I will be going back, unfortunately

This is without a doubt the best Hibachi/sushi restaurant I have ever been to. From the moment you walk in the service is amazing! The staff was friendly . The restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was melt in your mouth delicious! Overall an outstanding dining experience. I can't wait to go back and try some more of the amazing food. The owner, Jonathan, made sure our experience was perfect! Thank you! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had lunch at one of the hibachi tables with a group and the experience was fantastic. Food was fresh and very tasty. Before the hibachi we had white tuna sushi which was excellent. We also had a specialty dish of sushi grade red snapper that was cooked. Absolutely delicious. A nice atmosphere, very clean and the service was spot on. I highly recommend Mazhu if you’re looking for some great food, excellent service and a nice experience.
