I have not been out for hibachi in years and Mahzu did not disappoint. We went for my niece's birthday and Chef Derrick made our celebration awesome! He was so engaging and made the night so fun for all of us. He cooked everything to perfection and was such great entertainment for us too! If you go, request Chef Derrick, you won't be disappointed!

Chef Derrick was an amazing chef! He gave extra love and care to our meals and you could tell in the taste! He was friendly and made the night enjoyable! I highly recommend going to Hibachi and having him cook your meal for you!

We’ve been lucky enough to have Derrick as our chef twice and he is absolutely the best! Food is so flavorful and he is really creative and fun. My kids love him!

I went to this place to try with my friend. The server wasn’t great, kept bringing one plate at a time. We had ordered appetizers and he didn’t do it in the correct order. During the whole dinner— we felt rushed and that the restaurant wanted us out. They kept asking if we needed boxes and ready to pay.. when we did pay, we each tipped $6. The waiter was extremely rude and came up to us to complain and say we did not tip enough. We were extremely uncomfortable. We are never coming back and I wouldn’t recommend anyone come here.

Chef Derrick was amazing today. He had so much fun playing with the kids making them laugh and feeling safe from the fire. The food flavors were on point and that yum yum sauce was the best I have had. One down fall there was no volcano. That could have been cause they were down a chef so to save some time they skipped it. Also the yum yum sauce is on lock down and has to be asked for. The chef did ask the server for it but we never got it until I asked again. We will definitely be back to see Derrick in the future.

Vegetarian options: The hibachi chef was very aware of restrictions and cooked stuff seperate as to not mix meat with vegetables at the same time.

We often go to hibachi restaurants, but in all these years, we’ve never had a chef quite like Derrick! He brought an incredible energy, keeping the kids engaged with fun tricks and even crafting a Mickey Mouse out of the food. On top of the fantastic show, the food was hands down the best we’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll make sure to request him again!

Just finished an amazing hibachi service with great entertainment and great food. Would highly recommmend the chicken and filet mignon combo - perfect and fun!
