We had a great meal sitting outside on the patio, listening to the jazz music. Our bus boy was wonderful and extremely attentive and visible, always making sure our water glasses were full and there was never a dirty plate in front of us. I felt our waitress was disinterested and rushed us without any input on the menu. She was very unfriendly and that's the only negative feedback I have, because the rest of our meal was absolutely delicious and if we weren't so full, we certainly would have enjoyed dessert.

My friend and I went there for dinner to catch up. It was amazing. Every item we ordered was fantastic.

Buzzing! The restaurant has a great atmosphere. Outdoor seating offers a front-row experience to the Gazebo Summer Concerts. The staff is friendly and helpful, the drinks are great, and the food is good. It's great for dates, family, or girls' night. Millie

If you want sushi, noodles, sashimi then it is fine-not exceptional. Not a great value for your money. Service was average at best. Not returning there.

The nice weather allowed us to sit outside on the covered patio, which was great. The menu had a huge selection of sushi rolls, very Innovative and well prepared. A great amount of non -sushi options were also offered. Service was attentive and welcoming . It was a perfect atmosphere for a casual lunch. A public parking lot was around the corner and just a few minutes walk to the restaurant .

Metropolitan Cafe is one of my favorite local restaurants! Love their food and their martinis! The staff is excellent!

Overall we had a very nice time. The food was very good as was the service. Sushi was fresh.

Cons: Food was mediocre at best. Chicken parm sliders were barely a chicken tender, (not breaded, more like Tyson frozen strips), marinara sauce and unmelted mozz on top.l/ maybe ok for a kids menu item. Steak eggrolls were very chewy and no flavor. Dumpling soup broth was. Chicken sandwich had more toppings than chicken. The fries were great! Pros: Cute spot, wait staff very nice, lovely ambiance for a drink inside or out. There is a band just outside on certain days so that's fun. First time back in a couple years, probably will be a couple more.

We both had salads that were fantastic! The server was delightful and very patient with two old time friends who just wanted to gab!

Metro North has an expansive menu and the food portions are worth the cost. Staff is always welcoming. Highly recommend.

Metro is a local favorite of ours for many years. They deliver great quality and nice portions. Really good bar as well. The tequila old fashioned is excellent. Our group usually has a mixture of sushi and cooked items and everyone thoroughly enjoys their food. It's a nice space and the wait staff are attentive without being obtrusive. Cheers!

I have been going there for years and have always had an enjoyable meal and the drinks are impressive. The service is very very good and the staff are attentive and accommodating. A great place that has been a staple of my dining experience for over a decade. Never disappoints!!

We had to be asked to be seated in a booth which was in a quieter area away from a large and lively group. This seating was more sedate and made for an enjoyable evening.

Mother's Day Brunch Buffet was a hit. Everyone in the family found something that they liked. The host and staff were very attentive.

Nice ambience in the middle of downtown Freehold. Brunch was buffet style which was not as nice as ordering off a menu, especially relative to the cost of $54 per person which did not include drinks. Long lines at the buffet made this a less appealing experience. Good service, very attentive, probably because she didn't have to serve food and only attend to drinks.
