Small old school diner with classic menu and great food. Here a few times, never any complaints. Great cozy atmosphere with clean facilities and nice staff.

Roberto’s is a throwback to the “Glory Days” of the diner. I love sitting at the counter chatting with the servers and enjoying the expansive menu of traditional items and the endless seasonal specials. The food is excellent and the vibe is special.

First thing-CASH only-ATM available inside the diner if needed. I had breakfast. This is a great spot if you like vintage diner experience. Food and service were both 5*. They have free Parking available at the back of the diner. A great find in Freehold!

Local historians will tell you all about this place, regaling you with Springsteen stories. What they won't tell you about are the low prices and friendly service that is found in abundance here.
It has a family atmosphere, the food is delicious, the dishes are reasonable portions for one person, the service is excellent, the only thing you should take into account is that they only accept cash, they speak English and Spanish, but I openly recommend it.

Food was very good and service was amazing. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the home fries were just crispy enough. The inside was very cozy and had the retro diner vibe. I will definitely be coming back!

I had some time to kill in Freehold this morning and searched diners on Maps. I walked the few minutes to Roberto's on the edge of downtown and found a true gem.
They have a very pleasant staff and served me an excellent breakfast. I had one of the daily specials -- eggs over hash browns with chili, peppers and onions with a biscuit. The portion was large and I was only able to finish a bit more than half of it before giving up. The coffee was a solid medium roast so I had two cups.
This is one of NJ's older stainless steel diners with a decor that you're already familiar with. It reminds me of the Summit Diner for size and layout but it feels roomier at the tables.
Highly recommended!
