My wife and I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening on June 3rd. At the time there were only 2 tables occupied one had 4 patrons the other about 8. The restaurant was practically empty. There was one waitress taking orders, serving food and tending to the cash register as well as removing finished plates. We ordered 1 appetizer and 2 paninis. We waited about 20 minutes for the appetizer (grilled octopus) and another half hour for our paninis. In the meantime a party of 2 and a party of 3 sat down and somehow they were served before us. Additionally the paninis were lacking flavor and one reason why was because the bacon ingredient was omitted from the panini. I was told that there was no bacon in my chipotle panini yet the menu listed the ingredient. We were also told that the food preparer in the kitchen always takes a long time to prepare the paninis. Why I have no idea. I was kind enough to give the waitress a tip although she should have been more accountable but in fairness management was asking too much of 1 person. After voicing my complaint to the waitress she apologized and said that next time we came in they will take care of us. Three will not be a next time. I had been to this restaurant twice before and had no problem until this occasion.

Rosario sure knows how to do party planning. Everything was top notch. We highly recommend this wonderful gem of a restaurant we found!

The pizzas are high quality with fresh ingredients and the dinners are excellent. A member of our family has Celiac Disease and they have many panini and other options.

Pesce Fra Diovolo Clams, mussels, shrimp and calamari served in a spicy marinara sauce. I had this with penne pasta, it was good. It had a good amount of seafood in the bowl and the sauce was really tasty. It’s a $38 dish but worth it.

We had my baby shower at Da Rosario yesterday and everything was incredible. From the decorations, to the staff and even the food; it was exceptional service. We came here because we are from Staten Island and big fans of panini grill and the food did not disappoint! I gave Rosario my vision and theme and he made it come to life 10 times over. 10/10 recommend thank you so much to the staff at Da Rosario for making our day so special and handling us with such professionalism and care. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so thoughtfully done and full of care. Rosario went above and beyond in every way, making sure every detail was perfect and that we felt completely taken care of. Our guests are still reaching out to tell us how incredible everything was, which says so much.

I recently placed a catering order for a dinner at my church. Everyone raved about the food! The bread, the flavors, the rice balls! Chicken Francaise was also a big hit! Rosario is a pleasure to work with; he could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Plus, the atmosphere in the restaurant is so pretty and the parking is perfect! Will definitely cater from there again
