Food was not tasty. Had no flavor. Though I understand everything has gone up in price, it was overpriced. It wasn't our first time there but it will be our last. 60.00 for a steak? I'll go to Texas Road house.

Make reservations in advance. Very crowded for a reason. The food was fantastic. Anything you pick will be a homerun. The pasta dishes are made with love. The pork chops melts in your mouth with savory spices and smooth mash potatoes. It can be a little nosey but you forget everything when the food touches your tongue.

My friend and I met half way between Pennsylvania and manasquan NJ. We haven't seen each other in quite some time and were very excited to catch up. Our waitress was very kind, but after we finished our entrées, she dropped our check. When we didn't pay it in the next five minutes, she came back and said that they needed the table. We hadn't yet finished our wine, and it was very disappointing to feel rushed out. As we were walking out, we noticed there were many tables still available and we were confused as to why we had to be rushed out so quickly. We ordered right away and Our food came out very fast. It was really disappointing to feel like we couldn't sit down and enjoy our time together. As busy moms, it is very hard to schedule these types of nights out and it left us feeling very disappointed in the service.

Stuffed! What a great meal. We had so many leftovers. They last two days. Every dish of the tasting was unique and fantastic. The boar stew was still outstanding two days later. Tom and the crew do such a great job. Everyone is extremely sociable and professional. I almost forgot the dessert- pistachio cake?.

Everything was wondetful from the food to the service. Only glitch was a member of our group was using a knee scooter due to mobility issues and guests were seated at an adjacent table extremely close to my friend. I would understand if there were no ither options, but few tables were filled.

Always enjoy our trips to solo! Our girls night out last night was no exception. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere and the table we were given were perfect. Our busboy, christopher, couldn't have been more attentive to us. Highly recommend solo, and looking forward to our next dinner there!

Josephine was our server and she was great. The food was amazing. I had the fussili shrimp and seafood with their secret marinara sauce and one of the best I’ve ever had. Rivaled my moms. A hidden gem.

Consistently great Italian fare with a large menu selection and wonderful specials, so we come often to enjoy. Always fun to try new dishes and the menu is changed enough to stay interesting The sweet and spicy rock shrimp and calamari appetizer was so awesome I couldn't stop eating it and there was plenty for all 6 of us. The focaccia bread they bring to the table will hijacked by your friends so eat some first! Lol The only downside I feel is the credit card charge which is an annoying reality in some places since covid. Altho worse was the cake plating charge pp. I haven't seen that charge in years anywhere and we eat out and celebrate often. Otherwise highly recommend for food, service, ambiance and location in Freehold

The best restaurant in the area. They treat you like family. By far the best service I've ever received and authentic Italian food that you can't find many places. An absolute must. Tom is the best, we love talking to him when we come for dinner.

We ordered the veal cutlet, pounded thin, we should have sent it back. It was so over fried, I had a problem cutting it with the knife. The whole dish did not look appetizing. The server never came back to ask how everything was so we just ate it. I should have gotten up to find the Mgr. To let them know. I just felt we paid a lot and didn't enjoy the meal.

Solo has the typical 1990’s Italian restaurant vibes. My wife and I go quite often, we love the fresh homemade pasta. The food is always delicious! The people who complain that it’s bland food, well they are probably used to Olive Garden style Italian food… Solo is my favorite date night spot, and it’s BYOB. My goto is the Mario Y Lisa or chicken parmigiana, and my wife loves the cacio de Pepe. The best is when the young man singing Sinatra is there, kids great.

Food was chewy with little flavor. The waitress was annoyed when we weren't ready to order. My party were catching up -- we hadn't seen one another in months. I CAN NOT recommend this place. And I won't.

I love this restaurant. I usually have the garlic chicken which is great and who can resist the "almost famous chips" which I believe are now famous homemade chips. If you haven't tried them it is a must. I would suggest getting there early or making reservation if you are going peek hours. It's a BYOB but definitely a must.

What an amazing experience. The tasting menu was incredible!! From appetizers to dessert, we can't say which was best- all of it. Giorgio creates a fantastic menu with some terrific adaptations of traditional Italian meals. Cheers to the crew:Tom, Ally, Diane, and my gin buddy- Fedy. The night was relaxing as we listened to the soothing sounds of Jonah. What a great night. See y'all soon.
