The South Gate Manor is such a great venue! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! As a wedding photographer it is horrible when walking into a venue and getting staff members that want nothing to do with you and disappear when the bride needs them, thankfully thats not the case with this amazing venue!Another thing that is important to me when working at a wedding venue is having great locations for my couples to ge them epic wedding photos, the south gate manor has so many great locations for photos that my couple's rave about their photos! (see attached photos I have taken).I highly recommend this great venue if you are looking for a place to really take care of you and provide your guests with an amazing time!

We got married at South Gate Manor on October 28, 2023 and can't say enough how incredible the entire experience was. We got ready, did our photos, ceremony & reception at SGM. The venue is stunning inside & outside. The food from cocktail to dinner and dessert was amazing. Matthew, Chris, along with Bobby, Lizette, and the rest of the staff went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure our day was perfect and everything was seamless. "One Wedding At A Time" is one of my favorite things about SGM. They truly treat their couples like family and pour so much love into your wedding!

South Gate Manor is hands down the BEST WEDDING VENUE. We got married 11/10/2023 and we can’t say enough good things about SGM. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, super clean, smells great, the ballroom/ dance floor is huge as well as the cocktail hour room !!! Speaking of cocktail hour.. when I tell you the amount of food they provided is actually INSANE! And it was all delicious, every single station!! Our guests are still raving about it.From the moment we walked in we knew it was our place to get married. Matt and Chris were the easiest people to work with, and were always attentive with our emails & calls.Our maître D, Bobby was absolutely fantastic, funny, and professional. If it wasn’t for him I think I would’ve been overwhelmed-but sure enough he was on top of it all. He just made our day run so smoothly.Lizette & staff were professional and always kind to our guests, and made sure everyone was okay with their drinks, etc.I’m so happy to say our guest cannot stop talking about our wedding and the venue. My husband Greg and I want to say thank you to everyone at South Gate Manor for the amazing hospitality. We love you guys and like we said, if we can get married there every weekend we would.

I had my daughter’s wedding here on 11/4/23. I was so so thrilled with everything. We paid the extra to arrive at 8am for hair and make up..the bridal suite was really nice , large and had dressing room and makeup room . Coffee, bagels, fresh fruit and champagne was on hand…the bridal assistant Lazette ( not sure spelling) was fantastic was by my daughter’s side throughout the night .we did not have to look for her. ( bride needed her dress adjusted several times). Maitra D Bobby was also fantastic very professional and knowledgeable in everything . He made the whole day run smooth keeping all of us correct. In the schedule. ( even helped the groom fix tie and jacket for cake cutting. Both theses two went above and beyond…all staff were great, cocktail hour dinner and dessert were above what we were hoping forI would truly recommend this venue to anyone..beautifulThanks for making the day memorable

My brother Greg, and his now wife, Mayra, got married here on Friday and I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the staff.To start off, the venue itself is BEAUTIFUL! Very spacious, huge ballroom and dance floor and the room for the cocktail hour was HUGE as well, and elegantly decorated.I was in the bridal party and we felt welcomed and comfortable from the second we walked in. The staff was so attentive throughout the entire day and made sure we had everything we wanted and needed to make the day a huge success.I myself have worked as a waitress, bartender, and hostess at several wedding venues in New Jersey and they cannot even come close to comparing to SouthGate.The Maitre D, Bobby, is the best I’ve ever experienced. The entire day and night flowed so seamlessly without any issues or confusion due to his professionalism. He has a great personality and a great sense of humor.The wait staff was on top of everything from start to finish. Each table was attended to throughout the night and there wasn’t a second that I needed to ask for more water, coffee, etc. They were on top of it!The food was also the best I’ve ever had at any wedding venue! Cocktail hour, main course, and dessert were all DELICIOUS! They even managed to serve 160 people AL DENTE pasta!!! (As pasta should be served!!!)All of the guests cannot stop talking about how amazing and fun the wedding was!!I give South Gate and the staff 10/10 stars. The wedding would not have been as perfect as it was at any other venue. Thank you to South Gate and the staff for a night I will never forget!

Our June wedding at South Gate Manor was absolutely amazing, thanks to their outstanding staff. Right from our initial meeting with Chris, we felt we were in great hands. Chris and Matt were incredibly helpful in the lead-up to our big day, ensuring everything was just as we envisioned. On the wedding day, Lisette, Bobby, and David provided us with the best attention and care we could have asked for. Their expertise was so exceptional that my worries about needing a day-of coordinator were completely unnecessary. Our guests are still raving about our wedding, calling it the best they've ever attended, and praising the delicious food. The entire experience was so incredible; we wish we could do it all over again!

Came here for a wedding reception and we had a great time. Plenty of parking. This place is BIG and is very tastefully decorated. The cocktail hour was a nice setup and multiple serving stations served tons of food, all delicious. Wide variety of choose from. Seafood, meat carving, Italian apps, & fresh fruit. Plus servers who worked the room with very tasty bites. After that we were herded to the main ballroom. More food! We started with a Gorgonzola walnut salad with a cranberry dressing. Everyone loved it. The main course was a choice of salmon or NY strip . We both had the salmon which was served with a mango sauce, rice pilaf and asparagus on the side. We didn't stay for Venetian hour. We were stuffed and exhausted. My only complaint was there's not enough bathroom facilities for the amount of people. Waited online way too long. Other than that we had a great time!
