I preface this review with this: I am a Starbucks fan but I really believe and there is plenty of evidence to back it up that this particular Starbucks deserves an across the board five star review. The food is always tasty and very high quality. The service is always fast and excellent. Lastly, the atmosphere is awesome. The place has a great and relaxing vibe even by the lofty standards of Starbucks. I must also say that I have a great professional relationship with Tara and her team e.g. Sam, Jorge, Andy, Abbi, Maria and so forth. Tara who is usually the assistant manager on duty while I go there during my lunch break always has everyone and everything on point at all times. The place is extremely clean too! This particular Starbucks is always a great place, a great time and it’s even a compact time meaning it doesn’t take long to have a great time. So, if you’re in the neighborhood stop by. You will never regret it. Lastly, it is maybe a bit pricey but so is everything these days in conclusion at least you get a great time in exchange.

Lately, while out shopping, I realized I needed something to drink. I stepped into this Starbucks and was pleasantly surprised to find parking immediately available.
The friendly barista took my order, and within just a few minutes my holiday beverage was ready.
As I waited, I noticed how much more spacious the café felt compared to my last visit. The layout now feels loftier, yet it still maintains that clean, Scandinavian-inspired atmosphere. I was also impressed by how seamlessly the baristas worked together. No chaos or confusion, just smooth coordination. Each of them was equally friendly and helpful, especially when customers seemed undecided about what to order.
When my drink was ready, the barista handed it to me in a festive seasonal red cup, which I learned is given only with holiday beverages. It was a delightful surprise and added to the experience.
Of all the Starbucks locations along Route 9, next to the Howell Park and Ride, this one stands out as superior. At other locations, the service often feels perfunctory, lacking warmth or care. Here, however, the staff truly goes the extra mile to ensure customers enjoy their drinks. As I sat sipping mine, the barista who prepared it even checked in to ask if it was good. I happily replied that it was spectacular.

I waited in line for over 20 minutes with only two people in front of me. We received 4 drinks. A matcha, refresher and two protein cold foams. This location is so disorganized! Had to restate my order at the window and they still couldn’t get the order right. I paid over $25.00 for this mess! Do better Starbucks!

This location has turned me off of Starbucks for good. My coffee was made differently daily, even when I’d start making sure I was super specific. Ham and Swiss croissant is always soggy like they don’t leave it in the oven as long as they’re supposed to. When I start asking for it extra toasted, it’s 50/50 either still just soggy or actually done right. For a few years I’ve believed a majority of the staff in there needs extra help. Some go getters, some that drag everyone else down. Taking the extra 5 minutes to go to Rook now..

I have been a member of Starbucks for over 15 years. I’ve also been spending a lot of money with Starbucks, New Jersey for 15 years.. In those times frames i have not ever experienced or encountered an Starbucks employee her name is LAIA/LAYLA, not sure how to spell her name properly. She treated me with the utmost DISRESPECT, RUDENESS UNPROFESSIONAL, NASTY ATTITUDE, ANGRY, DEFENSIVE, LOW LEVEL ENERGY, AND SNATCHED MY $100 💵 Bill, because that was the only form of payment that I had to pay… I only had CASH and a high Bill of cash that particular day.. So that made her ANGRY!!! She REPEATEDLY asked me do I have any other forms to payments i REPEATEDLY told her NO.. This incident happened in the drive-through, when i pulled up to the drive-through window, that’s when she told me the price of my product.. I proceeded to hand over my HARD EARND WORKING $100 Bill, and she GRILLED me down about not having any other forms of payments, and then SNATCHED my hundred dollar bill out of my hand, and slam the drive-through window… At that point when she returned to bring me my coffee and change, I let her know that was EXTREMELY RUDE, she then got really NASTY & UNPROFESSIONAL and told me her name and she didn’t CARE about how she TREATED ME.. I also informed her i will file a complaint to corporate about this matter… I then came back inside to speak with a supervisor because my coffee she gave me was incorrect on TOP of all this… LAIA/LAYLA got so nasty with me and it caused me anxiety and a panic attack… Her Name is LAIA/LAYLA… she works in the Starbucks of Howell Township, New Jersey in the drive drive-through..

Beautiful Starbucks, but if starbucks is going to charge 1.25 for cold foam they need to make it cold foam! I got the strawberry cold foam with my matcha (my fav) and it was just strawberry milkiness :(
