Had an amazing meal here, the soup is phenomenal and very 3 dimensional. I had a Sirloin on Rye and it was so fresh and amazing. The cookies are amazing and fresh baked. The owner Mike is very friendly and very helpful. I will definitely eat here again and I recommend this place for people who enjoy good and wholesome food.

Amazing place for soups and sandwiches and salads!! Fresh brewed iced tea, daily baked fresh bread, homemade cookies and he even roasts his own meat to make sandwiches!! Upon entering this establishment you will be greeted, and then offered to try the soup lineup for the week!! There’s always something new on the menu it changes every week so there’s always something for everybody!!

Me and my coworkers have been ordering here once a week for the last month or so. That says enough right there but I will keep going. The chef/owner, Mike, personally serves you and takes your orders with a big smile. I love the small menu so it's not too overwhelming. As others have noted, the ingredients are FRESH, homemade, and locally sourced. He changes the menu on a weekly basis so there is always something new to try. So far, I've had the potato bacon soup, coconut shrimp soup, and the summer squash soup. Personally, the summer squash is my number one but all are fabulous. As far as sandwiches, I've enjoyed the ribeye, the pork loin, and the strawberry turkey. Honestly, I can't pick one as a favorite. That spicy peanut spread is such a delightful bite with the pork and cucumber. The strawberry jam on that turkey, so sweet, and balances so well with the cheddar. Lastly, today, I tried the seared tuna salad which prompted me to come write the review. The salad for $11 was huge! I couldn't finish it. Around here, a decent salad is close to $20 easy. The tuna was seared perfectly, but the star was the Wasabi Vinaigrette. I tried it and immediately started dancing out of contentment. It was a surprisingly perfectly balance vinaigrette with just the right amount of that wasabi heat. I love this place and will continue to frequent here for lunches. I also see, from another review, that he does an occasional multicourse dinner. I need to find out how to get on that list. I cannot believe I am just now discovering this place and am sad that I spent so many years buying mediocre lunches. Thank you, Mike, for such a wonderful food experience!

Delicious and cute place. As soon as I walked in the man started giving samples of every soup for that week. Very sweet man and patient with my choices. Each soup was even better than the last. I ended up getting the black bean one although the mushroom was a close second. Had about 4-5 sandwiches to choose from. Choose the rib eye sandwich which was cooked to perfection. They change their menu every week. I want to go back every day!!

Nice little lunch restaurant with excellent food. We were able to sample all the soup options, all were very delicious. First time here, the carrot soup along with the chicken & shrimp salads were excellent.. Looking forward to trying the other items on the menu. Everything is fresh as the menu changes week to week which is nice.

A delightful place for sandwiches, soup, and salad at very reasonable prices. The homemade bread/rolls and focaccia were amazing. We live 40 mins away but my wife says we are going back just so she can have more of the curry chicken soup. I thoroughly enjoyed the sliced prime rib sandwich paired with the cauliflower and bacon soup. Mike is very personable and clearly puts his heart and soul into his restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

My first time eating here and it was perfect. Went with a friend, sampled the soups(all yummy)and had the Grown up Tuna sandwich. Delicious! Took home a rib eye sandwich for someone else and it was a hit!. The home baked chocolate chip cookies were tasty too! Owner operated and he makes all the food himself. Including home baked rolls the sandwiches were on. Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks Mike we can't wait to come back and try another sandwich or maybe a salad. See u soon!
