I've been here twice and the food has been great both times. The items are fairly priced. We also had the chicken tacos and flautas. I would highly recommend the nachos, they were great!

First time here yesterday. Went in between lunch and dinner with my mom. We were the only ones there. The place was clean and the atmosphere was festive. We were welcomed in immediately our server was super friendly. When we looked at the menu we realized we had just missed the lunch menu. It is available from 11-3 and it was 330. It had so many items to choose from for only $10.95. Our server said no problem you can order from there. So we did and everything was delicious. We had the chicken empanadas and the fajita tacos. Great lunch, great service.

Texas Mexican Restaurant has become my go-to for an authentic Mexican fix, and it never disappoints. This local spot has a magic touch when it comes to tacos, nachos, and quesadillas - each bite bursting with flavor. My personal favorite is the birria tacos; they're a symphony of taste. What sets them apart is the generous serving of three tacos per order, and I love that all their tacos come with a double layer of tortillas, a thoughtful touch not every spot in the area embraces. The only hiccup in this otherwise delightful experience is that the birria tacos skip the Spanish rice that accompanies other taco platters. While it's a small gripe, the flavorful birria more than compensates for it. If you're on the hunt for a gem delivering Mexican flavors that truly hit the spot, Texas Mexican Restaurant is the place to be.

The entrance off 3 W Main Street is so welcoming and inviting drawing you in. Once inside the vibrant colors, amazing art and lighting really set a vibe. The authenticity of the cultural aesthetic gave me a new sense of awareness of the vibrancy of Freehold Borough. It was so clean, the tables shined and the floors impeccable. A very nice family atmosphere and the service was excellent, our order was ready in less time than anticipated, I was almost disappointed because I was enjoying the atmosphere so much. The food is outstanding, my youngest of 17 has a very particular pallet, he absolutely loves the TMR. I have digestive issues and need to stick to basic entrees, so I have to yet experiment with the menu. When my kid is happy, I'm happy. It is nice to have such great cuisine so close by.
