Food was awful and I was very disappointed. Calamari was overcooked - steak was very tough and the risotto was terrible
We've been patrons for years. We eat here several times a month. My family has been coming since the 80s when I was young. The food & service have always been good. My husband has a severe allium allergy (onions, garlic, chives, leeks & shallots) and the staff has always been super attentive to that... Until last night. We had a waiter by the name of Maurice. He paid zero attention to the allergy, so much so that he allowed a plate of onion and garlic crackers to be dumped onto our cheeseboard. We asked for plain crackers as we always do, and we were told there were no plain crackers. This was especially disappointing especially since we mentioned the allergy right off the bat, just as we always do, giving the waiter plenty of time to inform us if no plain crackers would be available so that we could choose an alternative appetizer which my husband could eat safely. When the salads came out my husband's did not have blue cheese, because once again the server paid no attention to the fact that he had an allergy so he could not have the blue cheese dressing which contains onion and garlic but could have the blue cheese itself, because he was clearly not allergic to cheese since our appetizer was a cheese tray that included blue cheese! Ridiculous all around. Last night's visit was unfortunate, it left a bad taste in our mouths and the nonsense about not having plain crackers is exactly that, nonsense. We payed $25 for a cheese plate that was not complete because it could not be offered to us with plain crackers as requested due to my husband's allergy. Once again we've been here hundreds of times this has never been an issue. We won't be coming back, the server was terrible and could have harmed my husband had any of the cheese/other food been contaminated by the garlic & onion crackers. The server was extremely negligent and dismissive, we're lucky we didn't spend the evening in the ER due to his inability to properly handle a serious allergy.
Great event space and hotel with vintage retro vibes.

Has the pecan crusted chicken salad special. It was delicious the chicken was crispy the salad was lightly dressed and had the perfect amount of goat cheese. They should add this to the menu
My husband and I went to dinner there on a Saturday night after having a nice dinner there during the week a couple of months ago. This was a big mistake from when we walked in from the parking lot. The hallway was packed with people waiting to get into the wedding venue who were loud and rude not letting people get through. We get to the front entrance and give our names to the nice reservationist, who could hardly hear us because of guitarist (one guy) singing so loud. The waiter was kind. I ordered halibut and husband ordered prime rib med/rare. My diner was good but his was so tough, he thought it was leftover from the wedding venue. The dining room emptied out by 8 pm.... It was so bad please save your ears and money and go someplace else!! I never give such a bad review for these hard working people but had to this time! $200 down the drain and a horrible headache..sorry
Food and ambiance are always excellent. Service was below par. The best server by far is Alicia and I've sat at her tables many times and always an excellent job. I didn't have her last night and there's a clear difference between her skills and the waiter we had. I do recommend your restaurant to others but always tell them to ask for her by name because a good server makes all the difference in the dining experience.

It's a good meal, but the piano player was playing so loud that even when we were in the back, we could hardly hear each other across the table. The piano player is supposed to be light music quiet you know not blasting like that.
Had a group of six for dinner. Everything was good.

I'm not against soft background live music delivered by a very talented musician, however, when the volume on that music prevents you from hearing the people at your table who are 3 feet from you, it's a problem. We requested the speaker be turned down and allegedly, it was, however, it was still way too loud. This detracted from the dinner with our oldest friends and will most certainly, be kept in mind for future dinners.
The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Definitely will be going back. The weight staff was extremely nice.
It's a great place to bring a date.
