I went to the Southaven, MS location for the first time this week and the customer service was terrible. My teenage son even noticed the young lady taking our order at the counter had a bad attitude, not friendly at all. She acted as if she had better things to do and didn’t care that we were there. The food was ok, but I don’t care about the food if the customer service is trash.
First time visiting the Shrewberry location, but definitely not my last. The selection of bagels and cream cheese was amazing. The store was amazing, clean, and organized and the staff were very friendly.
Price doesn’t reflect quality. Service was amazing though, all the girls up front were sweet. Hubby’s avocado bagel was ginormous and hard to eat but he said it was really good. I got a fruity pebbles bagel with fruity pebbles cream cheese. I couldn’t taste a single thing. The bagel was hard to chew like leather and most of the bagel didn’t even have the cream cheese. It wasn’t thick at all like the pictures on FB. It was barely enough to make it not dry. I had ONE bite that I could actually tell there was cream cheese. The iced blueberry coffee was really good though. Not at all worth what I paid.
I feel like the quality was there, but there were several issues that prevent me from giving the Southaven location a recommendation. 1) waited 40 minutes to get to the register only for the cashier to tell us that we can't place any grill orders only for another employee and a manager to overrule her with us standing there. 2) ordered a bagel with cream cheese and lox. specified we wanted the bagel toasted. bagel came untoasted. sent it back did them to try again. got it back still cold and untoasted. 3) employees on break sitting amongst the customers complaining about the job, various customer interactions, etc. 4) their iced coffee wasn't that great. To their credit, my pork roll sandwich was good, and I did enjoy the Oreo overload was solid. I also got the Reuben on a Russian bagel earlier this week that was very good. the potential is absolutely there, but the Southaven location as plenty of work to do.
The Bagel Nook Southaven MS– where the lines are long, but don’t worry, they’re moving faster than your kid can eat a plate of fries. Seriously, the crew here is like a well-oiled machine – no one’s standing around looking lost, everyone’s working with purpose and precision. We ordered four items: 3 sandwiches and, of course, one child who insisted on getting chicken nuggets and fries because, apparently, we’ve created a monster who doesn’t understand that a bagel place might actually serve bagels. I went for the steak and eggs on a wheat everything bagel. Hubby and our son went for the flaming hot Cheetos bagel sandwiches – "The Wrecker" and "The Promise Land." The latter definitely took the crown, probably because the combination of flaming hot Cheetos and bagel is a combo I never knew I needed. All of the bagels were surprisingly chewy, in a good way, like, "Hmm, this is different, but I kind of like it." You can definitely tell these aren’t the bagels you find in the frozen section at the grocery store. And as for the nuggets and fries? Well, my daughter gave them a thumbs up, but if you're going to a bagel joint, maybe just stick to the bagels. I’m pretty sure she was just in it for the fries, honestly. Now, onto the wallet… our trip to the Bagel Nook set us back $65.50. That's about $12 per item, plus tip. So yeah, not exactly a budget breakfast, but it’s nice to have someone else cook once in a while, right? The food is definitely a treat, but let’s just say we’re sticking to simpler bagels next time. Would I go again? Yes, for sure. Would I go every weekend? Probably not. But for a fun, once-in-a-while breakfast adventure, this place is a definite win.
Awsome place. Love Bagel Nook. New location also on on 34 Aberdeen NJ.

3/26 11:00ish... I ordered through DoorDash, so I can't even say they heard me wrong.
I ordered a Plain Bagel with Egg Whites, Hashbrowns, and Bacon. I also wrote that I was allergic to Sesame and Peanuts since I know they have food with those allergies. I got an Everything Egg Bagel (Sesame) with regular scrambled eggs, no hash browns, and super undercooked Turkey Bacon.
I'm very disappointed and won't be getting food from there again since they tried to kill me!
Dietary restrictions: They don't care what you are allergic to or not.

$6.13 for a bagel and cream cheese is excessive! I wasn't given the price - was just asked "cash or card?" to which I asked whether the price via card is the same as cash to which they said it is. As the cashier, they should really call out the total rather than blurting out "cash or card" only but I guess they don't want people to know until they look at their card statement.
With that said, the everything bagel with cream cheese tasted good but the bagel was just regular sized. Not worth it for that price though.

Freehold Bagel Nook, Sunday 3/2, 10:30am
“Nook (n): a corner or recess, especially one offering seclusion or security”. Freehold Bagel Nook should definitely be tucked into a corner where no one can find it because this place and its bagels only made me feel secluded and afraid, and anything but secure. The bacon cheddar bagel toasted with cream cheese I ordered came out flaccid and room temperature, if not cold. I asked kindly if it would be possible to get it toasted one more time and the staff said unfortunately they’re unable to, but they can make me a new order. I appreciated their accomodation and asked for the same order, but toasted well done this time. The second bagel had to be a Flamin Hot Cheetos bagel since they ran out of the first. Somehow the teenagers behind the counter were able to burn a thin layer of the inside of the bagel, but not get a crisp toast anywhere else on the bagel. Charging $6.80 only to be disappointed with a bagel I’d expect to get in a remote Midwestern place not really known for bagels, like Minnesota, and instead I’m in New Jersey? I will take my business elsewhere.

Bagel with cream cheese. Could you afford more cream cheese for the price we pay?

Me and my boyfriend order from here all the time when we are in the mood for sleeping in and they never dissapoint. My all time favorite has been the french toast bagel with pork roll egg and cheese. Absolutely mouth watering! Me and my bf got halfsies so we can have a mix if savory and sweet. He got a fruits pebble bagel with birthday cake cream cheese which was also very good if you're looking for a more sweet option.
