We always have enjoyed our dinner at Vincent's and have been going on a regular basis. This time it wasn't as good. The quality of the branzino wasn't nearly as good as it has been. My wife had the veal artichoke dish which was tough and tasteless. Very disappointing!!
This was our first visit to Vincent's. We tried the clams oregano's and ahi tuna as appetizers. There were at least eight entrees on the menu I wanted to try. I picked the chicken valdastana. Outstanding, is the only word I can use to describe this dish. Can't wait to go back there.
Moved to NJ 2 years ago and had not found a outstanding Italian restaurant after eating at many in the Englishtown area. There are good one with good food, but this restaurant was outstanding in all categories. Monday and Tuesday they offer a prix fixe $29.95 3 course dinner that was delicious. Checkout the prix fixe menu, everything excellent. We were greeted by Vinnie at the door, later to discover he was the owner, and our enjoyable evening took off from there.
