The place is very clean. The service is usually unfriendly but I can live with that as long as they aren’t rude. They are pricey too which is ok if the food was consistently good but it isn’t.Some days, their meats are moist and flavorful and their vegetables and pickled items are crispy and fresh. Other days, the meats and rice can be dry and tasteless and vegetable soggy. The pickled turnips will sometimes be bright pink and crisp while other times, they’re wilted and tasteless. Also, their homemade packaged foods such as hummus and the desserts are a hit or miss because they’re being sold past their “sell by” date.Their food leans towards bland. I do wish they seasoned their food more but that’s personal preference. They are also stingy with toppings especially given their prices. If you’re coming here hoping for Chipotle style build-a-bowl experience where you can ask for more of a topping or sauce, you will be disappointed. Surprisingly, a drizzle of their diluted, watery tahini is extra. Even if you pay extra for it, it doesn’t have the creamy consistency and nutty flavor you may be accustomed to which is unfortunate because that’s such a signature flavor in this cuisines. All in all, they fulfill my cravings for middle eastern food from time to time because there are no other options around here and that definitely works to their advantage.

If I can hold a sandwich with just 3 fingers and it's gone in 4 bites . That's problem. Order 4 diff sandwiches, barely any meat, paper bread. 2 deserts barely any sugar. Then as I'm walking out I realize ther friend order the same thing I did but his sandwiche was massive 3 times size. .not a good look . LESSON LEARNED. Do Not Go and waste your money on finger foods. estakfer-elah

For lunch, I decided to try Zaytouna and ordered their chicken shawarma bowl. Unfortunately, I found the food to be bland and overpriced for the portions served, which made the whole experience a bit disappointing.

Very inconsistent food quality. Been here many times. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s mediocre.Today, falafel wrap had massive chucks of tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce ribs. Chop your vegetables. Put some effort into it. Falafel were cold and not made fresh.

The pic on the left is the beef kefta bowl, with brown rice, tahini sauce, and whipped garlic. The lamb shawarma is on the right. Both are nice and tasty; it doesn't look like it takes up much space on the tray, but they definitely filled me up. I wish they weren't served on plastic containers even when you're eating in the restaurant and that the music volume was a little lower, but I do like eating there.

The food flavor is overcooked and watered down . The lamb does not have a lamb flavor taste as if been resting in water. They don't give any bread with there meal . The Tahini sauce is water down. And makes the food taste nasty .

I went to Zaytouna as recommended by a friend. I'm not sure if I came at an off time but I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and was sadly disappointed. The baba ghanoush was very goood but the rest of the plate was lacking. It was also kind of expensive for how much you get (nearly $15 for just a plate). I would maybe try again based on other reviews but not my favorite so far.

Stopped by Zaytouna Mediterranean Grill and, wow, their shawarma sandwich is a game-changer – juicy, spicy, and all kinds of delicious. Cool vibe inside, and the staff's super chill and helpful. Also, don’t skip the baklava! Definitely coming back. ??

The rude woman behind the counter acts like she is doing you a favor by taking your order. Got the chicken gyro and it was okay until I bit into a large tough piece of chicken. Had to pick it out of the gyro. Won’t be back. ??
