I’m 65 years old. My name is Joseph I was named after coffee (wink) I am particular with regard to quality and all the components that go into what I consider a “quality product “….. and there are many when it comes to the science particulars that are a major part of what makes a great tasting cup of coffee.
These guys could all act like complete jerk -offs and I would still buy their coffee because their coffee is so good. BUT they’re not jerks. And that makes the entire transaction even better
I spent 3 hours over two days with the 800 pound gorilla in the schoolyard, Amazon that is, trying to resolve a very simple issue that was actually caused by them. THREE HOURS !! And it still wasn’t resolved , so I punted and cancelled out the order.
And you what is really sad? I spent 70% of the call with Amazon’s Customer Service people (4 different ones) saying exactly these words; “…… ummm, what? Can you repeat that? I have no idea what you are even saying”.
Like how awful is that? “….unmmmm, what?” Said that about 25 times !!!
Soooo…… when I call Coffee Bean Direct for ANY REASON, I get a highly motivated, English speaking, well informed, ambassador of the company.
I know this is long. These guys, on the merit of their deliverable product only, deserve the highest rating. Yet they provide so much more.
I’ve been drinking coffee for 48 years now. I’ve traveled and tasted many coffees from the world. I hold Coffee Bean Direct in the highest regard for their products.
Specifically, I’m finding it very hard to deviate from my favorite bean of theirs, Tanzanian Peaberry, whole bean. I can’t adequately put into words how amazing that bean is to me. HOWEVER, old dog that I am, the gentleman who helped me today gave me some excellent information about two other beans (each from Africa) that just may move me off my square into trying another type of bean.
And I think that’s cool as heck that I received some new information that was meaningful and unbiased.
So all of this, I should ad that the ROASTING STYLE that I prefer most is a LIGHT ROAST.
Too many Americans think of a DARK ROAST as a strong coffee that contains more caffeine. It’s definitely stronger. B

Been buying coffee from this place for years, and it is by far the best in quality and taste! Our favorites are the Grandfather Blend and the Dark Sulawesi.In all our years we have been buying from here, they only once accidentally sent us the wrong coffee, and when I reached out they replied within the hour to not only send us the bag that we had originally ordered, but they also let us keep the 5lb bag they sent by accident. They are so good at what they do, and at this point I don't like any other coffee from anyone else! They are that good!

Started using Coffee Bean Direct coffee years ago and have never been more pleased with a company or their products. I personally recommend the Tanzanian Peaberry, because I like a mild roast that is smooth and tastes as aromatic as it smells! Customer service is second to none. I know we're all used to 5 star ratings, but for me Coffee Bean Direct is a 10!!

Hands down the best company in the world! I had a weird/rare issue with earl grey and the bergamot acting with the plastics in my container. They contacted their supplier for me just to confirm.
