First time visitors. Atmosphere was great. Love the decor. Service was fantastic! Our waitress was on top of everything and this was refreshing. Also love Frenchtown as a quaint and cool locale.

The food...just so-so. They offer a great and varied menu, which is really a treat to see. However, in our opinion - breakfast potatoes are always ruined by adding peppers - disappointing. I had an omelet which, while very packed with ingredients - was dry and rather bland considering it was made with pesto and prosciutto. I honestly could not tell that it was not bacon. Meat was overcooked and too crunchy. The pesto flavor was faint. The dry nature of the omelet could have been improved with perhaps more cheese. I really don't know. I took over half of it home and only ate half of that leftover as it was just so dry and lackluster. My dining partner had strawberry cheesecake French toast. It was again so-so and overall too sweet.

We'll probably try this restaurant again simply based on the location, service and menu options.

I had the chicken and waffles while my wife had the Arizona omelette and both were so amazing. The quality of the food and service were outstanding! One of my favorite spots in the local area for sure :)

Came in today for lunch and had a terrific experience. Have been here before, but while the service is always good, it was beyond amazing today. Donna took fabulous care of me... friendly, funny, caring and attentive. Am seldom treated better and will certainly be back!

Breakfast perfection. Not a single burn mark on perfectly executed over easy eggs. Amazing hime fries with great texture and delicious juicy onions and peppers. Great rye toast. And.... Wait for it.... The best scrapple I ever had. I normally go for pork roll but it would be hard not to get the scrapple. Piping hot. Crispy outside but not burnt. Tender almost creamy inside. Spreadable goodness. Been coming here, old and new building, for almost 20 years and always look forward to a visit. Always perfect, attentive service with a smile. Warm and cozy atmosphere.

Best Chicken and Waffles I ever had in my life. It was fluffy, and the chicken was crispy and tender. And that hot honey was great.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch today and we have to say it was a pleasant atmosphere to eat lunch in. The Avocado Burger my girlfriend had and the Pub burger I had were really filling and amazing. The waitress Donna who served us was really friendly and come to find out is from the same in Pa. i grew up in during grade school. We would drive the hour for those burgers again! We highly recommend this little gem of a cafe to anyone.

Came in for lunch around 1 on a Thursday and it wasn't busy at all. Staff was friendly but service was slow for some reason. We sat around for awhile before our order was taken.

Ordered the Southwest chicken panini and a side of french fries. Food also came out a bit slow. The chicken sandwich was cooked nicely. The texture of the bread and chicken was great. The flavor overall was quite bland which surprised me since the ingredients contained Chipotle mayo. Not even a slight kick from that.

The fries were crispy and seasoned well. Not the best I've had but pretty good. They were nice enough to split the sandwich onto two plates for us.

Something burned in the kitchen while we were there so the whole place reeked of smoke for a good while.

Best Breakfast Stop – Frenchtown Cafe Delivers!

Stopped at Frenchtown Cafe while heading to an event in Doylestown, PA, and wow, what a gem! This cozy spot on Bridge Street feels like home as soon as you walk in. I got lucky with their Saturday special – Portuguese steak and eggs. I went for it, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. Perfectly cooked steak, crispy garlic home fries, and poached eggs topped with a rich mushroom sauce. The whole plate was a flavor bomb. Honestly, I haven’t had a breakfast like this in Jersey before. If you’re around, you need to swing by. This is one spot I’ll keep coming back to whenever I’m nearby. Check the pics and see for yourself – it's a breakfast that sets the bar high.
