Well we had dined here before in the summer and were satisfied. Something was distinctly wrong on this last visit. We told the waiter immediately that the dining room was very chilly and the alternate room’s fireplace was not on. He didn’t even acknowledge our statement! It wasn’t very cold outside but the rooms without heat were really chilly and we had to keep our coats and scarves on during our meal. We were offered bread and we accepted. The tiniest tiniest roll was brought to us and placed on our plate— and besides its size.. it was not thoroughly cooked. We ordered soup and asked for it to be very hot because we were so cold in the dining room. It arrived lukewarm. The entree was alright though the meat dishes were totally overcooked . We had ordered Well but well doesn’t mean dry. The bill was over 100 dollars for two people and truthfully, we will not be back for that kind of meal and Service! We immediately drove to New Hope for a delicious dessert and a very hot cup of tea!
One of my favorite places. Unfortunately it is CLOSED indefinitely.

What a lovely place to have an intimate dinner or holiday party. The salmon was cooked amazingly. The apple crumb was wonderful. The food here is always fantastic and the customer service is great. Every time we come here I leave completely satisfied and always willing to return.
Was hoping to have a nice dinner soon...but read that it's been sold and not officially re-opened yet. Hoping that it keeps the lovely tradition going.
This past Sunday my wife Heather and I had the pleasure of dining at The Frenchtown Inn with a good friend. This wonderful spot is top on our list of favorite local restaurants we frequent and also highly recommend to our guests at our B&B, Riverstone 1730.Sunday was special in that we had a sumptuous meal, the Chilean Sea Bass and Fish Taco entree's were amazing and the dessert of Peach Schnapps Sabayon completed our epicurean experience perfectly. The presentation and service by our waitress accented by the historic ambiance made our Sunday excursion to The Frenchtown Inn a truly Five Star experience. We will be back!Ken & Heather Law
Food was great could have had a little more in the lobster pot to not be hungry when done but tasted great. Coctails were good and bartender knows his stuff
Probably one of the nicest experiences in a long time. Ended up in Frenchtown on a whim and was looking for a sit down place to eat. This fit the bill and was did not disappoint. Waitstaff was knowledgeable and friendly. We went with the fondue that was in puff pastry with 4 meatballs as an appetizer. J*** fish taco and special panini. Both delicious. Not only do they have drink menu but also mocktails. Service was wonderful. Decor was pleasant. Dessert was amazing. My girlfriend is a coffee aficionado and raved about the coffee. If there was one thing I would change would be to remove the lights in fireplace and have a fire going on these cold days. Overall a wonderful experience. Menu is online. I would suggest reservations for dinner. Staff wore masks throughout service and table linens replaced between seatings. Easy parking down the side street.
