Every time I come to visit my aunt and uncle, we eat here and the food is delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

I'd recommend the 519 burger! 😁

Impeccably prepared and presented dishes. Salmon truly cooked to perfection, crisp outside and very moist inside. The beet salad was a delightful mélange of mixed greens, beets, apples and seasonal squash. The crème brulee was exceptional. Even the coffee was delicious.

If you get two things; get the French fry poutine with mushrooms, cheese curds, short rib and gravy as a starter (enough for 2-4 people) and then, get the pork chop (cooked medium) with sweet potato and apple hash with sautéed Brussel sprouts. When you go back, you'll certainly get it again. It's that good, and ask for Laura to be your server.

I've been to Tavern 519 several times and I always leave full and satisfied. They don't have a large menu exactly, but they have various options and always offer specials so you have a lot of choices to pick from.

Their pizzas are great and some are really creative. I've enjoyed burgers and other entrees. The poutine is one of my favorite things there. It's so rich and luxurious it should be a crime. Their portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The service has always been very friendly and accommodating.

Today I had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and my wife had the Fried Chicken sandwich (sans bun). Both were delicious. This place is in the middle of nowhere, but it is worth the trip!

I drove by this place several times and didn't even know it was open until a friend asked to go for dinner one night. It's a nice place, alittle on the expensive side for what you get. The drinks seems more watered down with mixes than alcohol. The food was semi fair at best. The Margherita pizza was definitely a disappointment. It only consisted of 4 pieces of mozzarella cheese and very light sprinkle of green and so much sauce the crust was soggy before I could eat it. The place does carry a cool vide, the staff was super attentive and the place was clean!....I just felt the food and drinks lacked for the price point.

Out hiking and needed a place to grab a beer and some food. Found this little place pretty much in the middle of nowhere. You can easily pass it by but don't. This tavern definitely hit the marks. Good drinks although not a big beer selection and really good food coming out of a very small kitchen. It certainly worth checking out when in the area.

The pork chop is by far their best dish. Super juicy. The hash and brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked. The service was slow - 40 minute wait for food and when we walked in we heard the receptionist talking about a table over staying their allotted 90 minutes. Makes it a little tough to move tables when your kitchen is slow on a night that it’s not packed. The 519 burger was an atrocity. Cheese wasn’t melted. No toothpicks to keep the burger together. They just piled on way too many ingredients. I ended up eating it without the bun and cheese and just had the burger with the pork roll and egg. For $20 that was just plain robbery. If I make it here again I’d stick with the porch chop. Waitress also came and asked how are food was before we even took a bite. That’s poor restaurant service. For the prices I’d expect better, but considering there’s not a lot in the area I’m not surprised they can charge the prices and still get the business. It’s a tourist area after all and surprisingly few good restaurants.
