Einstein himself once said, "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". That is how I feel every time I come back to this place. Once a week, I magically forget how mid Einstein Bros. Bagels truly is and find myself standing in line like the sheep I am.Disregard the pictures on the menu. Your sandwich will look nothing like that. Ingredients are of cheap, terrible quality, and very small compared to the bagel. The sandwich itself is lazily slapped together by a team of people who make it terribly obvious that they hate you and don't want to be there. EVERY SINGLE TIME I get a sandwich from this place I have to open it up and rearrange it (which is fairly easy because they're all solid, individual slabs, including the delicious plastic cheese that doesn't melt). Everything is criminally under-seasoned, even by white people standards, and I am forced to load my sandwich up with those little iodized salt and pepper packets just to feel something.I don't know what it is with Stockton, but the food here has always been terrible and overpriced. Maybe they think they can get away with it because our frontal lobes haven't fully developed enough to realize how bad they're screwing us, or maybe their chefs just suck. I have a feeling it's the latter. I just feel like my tuition should be paying for a sandwich that ISN'T made with government cheese.
