I am updating my prior review as this place has gone from bad to worse. I haven't been here for quite some time but yesterday I wanted to get a St. Joseph zeppole. I didn't feel like going to Hammonton so I checked the ones in the grocery store and after reading the poor ingredients that was a no. ....so I thought that I would give this place another try. I decided on the lemon ricotta cheesecake. After making a nice pot of espresso I took a bite of this cake and almost gagged. This did not taste like lemon or ricotta. It tasted like high fructose corn syrup, generic cream cheese, and gelatin. The taste and texture was awful. The whole cake went in the trash. $6.00 for a tiny cake....no tiny trash. Never again. Original review: I stopped in the other day for pumpkin cheesecake. I have not been here for a while. In the past staff was inwelcoming and professional. This is not what I experienced this time. The woman working there kept her back to me and yelled over her shoulder that she be with me in a minute. I said "No problem,". After ignoring me for another 5 minutes I walked closer to the side of the counter she was at so she realized I was there. Itwas then I saw she was arranging cupcakes on trays with NO GLOVES. I was appalled but to top it off she licked her finger and at that point I left and will never return. Disgusting. Unfriendly, unprofessional, and unsanitary.

I ordered a custom cake for a dinner party. The cake turned out perfect. I contacted Monika, the pastry chef and showed her what I wanted the cake to look like. She quickly gave me pricing and size options. I picked up some cupcakes from the storefront to try a few cake flavors and icings. We decided on a chocolate chip cake with cannoli filling. The cake was beautiful and delicious! I’m still thinking about it. My guests loved the cake as well. The whole process was easy and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a special dessert.
Can never leave there with only what was originally planned. Everything is delicious and I usually spend more on extras than just the birthday cake I went for. Amazing service and delicious treats that are too hard to choose from. I contacted Luscious & Sweet Gourmet Bakery to see if they could make custom cookies for me to include in bridesmaid's boxes. I was envisioning a cookie that looked like a calendar with my wedding date highlighted on it and I had a specific design and color theme in mind. I was contacted shortly thereafter by Monika, one of the pastry chefs, and she truly helped bring my vision to life! The prices were incredibly fair compared to some other bakeries I reached out to, and I was just so impressed with the quality! (I was sad I didn't get an extra just for myself to try - they looked so delicious!) My bridesmaids all loved them! Overall, it was such a seamless experience from placing the order to picking them up. I cannot recommend them enough, and I know when I need custom cookies again in the future, I will be reaching out to Luscious & Sweet! :)

She listened to what I wanted and made some great suggestions. I sent her a picture of the invitation since we wanted to match. She also suggested the lemon curd with vanilla cake and it was delicious.I did reach out to her again to solidify the order and pick up date and paid in full. She told me they do not provide receipts. The only complaint is that we spoke and emailed numerous times and solidified we would pick up the cake the day before party, but when we got there we were told that Victoria had for pick up the next day. The day of the party we were told to pick up at 10 but noone was there until 11. An hour before the party which was 30 minutes away.Beautiful and delicious and told everyone who asked that they are the best.

If I could give more than five stars I would. I got ahold of them so last minute I didn’t think they would take the order. Not only did they take they order, but they were so accommodating with every little detail. I told them I wasn’t picky on the design and they can do whatever they’d like. The cake came out so aesthetically pleasing, but they even added little details throughout the cake than just having the picture I requested. On top of that, the cake was delicious. Everyone loved it! The strawberries they used tasted fresh! Thank you guys so much for everything! This is definitely the spot I’m going to for all events that require cake.
My favorite place to stop when it’s a Special occasion and I don’t have time to Bake myself. This is the place to go for Homemade Dessert

Went there to order a special birthday cake on the 21st, and was told to email Victoria the details. I did that on the 21st and was told that since the pastry chef was on vacation, she just needed to make sure that the bakery staff was okay with making the cake since it required fondant. I replied immediately saying that I was okay with it. This cake was needed for a my husband’s birthday on the 29th. Didn’t hear back from her for next few days, figured I’d check in and see how things were coming along on the 27th. Thank God I did! She finally responded to my email with “I’m terribly sorry, the bakery team doesn’t feel comfortable making your cake and the pastry chef is on vacation and our designs are limited”. Are you kidding me?!?!? Why couldn’t you tell me this daysssssss ago so I could find another bakery to make the cake??? Horrible business!!! How long did it take for you to find out that the bakery team was not comfortable making the cake??? And if I had not taken the initiative to reach out to you, I would have never heard from you at all!! It’s now Thursday evening and I cannot get a special order cake for Saturday for my husband’s birthday party. Really disappointed in this bakery.
