Delicious Bah Mi’s. Fantastic bread. On my favourite list for years.

The atmosphere could be better. They only had one server. My guest had a big bowl of soup with shrimp and noodles in it. Which was very good. I decided to have fried appetizers. I should’ve had the soup. They were lackluster and too well done. The place was loaded with Asian people so I guess it’s popular with the crowd.

Ordered to-go and meat came raw on top of noodles and vegetables. I understand severing raw at the store where the broth can cook it for you right away, but finding out over 45 minutes later that raw meat was left sitting on my noodles was nothing short of upsetting. The cherry on top is that half of the ‘beef’ I ordered is pork, which I cannot eat! 1 star is too high.

Excellent food- enjoyed the dumplings, satay chicken, and scallion pancakes for appetizers and had the vermicelli with pork. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and the service was good. My only note is that it would be good if they brought all the food out at the same time.

The best Pho and Bahn mi I have ever had.
This restaurant is unbelievable. We waited 50 minutes with no food, and when we asked how much longer it would take, the staff got angry and snapped, “Can’t you see I’m busy?” It took 20 minutes just to get water, and they threw chopsticks and forks on the table instead of handing them properly.
The place was filthy — clearly not cleaned — which was shocking, especially because the reviews were so good. If anyone I know were thinking of coming here, I would definitely warn them not to.
Even the table behind us had to call someone from the kitchen because they never got their check or to-go boxes.
This place wasn’t even that busy, but one person trying to handle everything alone and taking out their frustration on customers is just not okay. They seriously need to hire more staff.
Food is pretty good for what you expect! I hate leave a bad review but man the wait-time kills it for me..
Both dine-in & take-out
Best in the tri county area! Service is fast, atmosphere is nice. The food portion is perfect and the broth is amazing!
Went for dinner ( had vermicelli) . Liked so much that I brought my son for lunch the next day . Had the classic Pho ( my son loved it as well )
The atmosphere was def welcoming and warm, I had the opportunity to dine-in for the first time, 5 ✨⭐

They’re pretty good when they’re open, but they close at random times and there’s no way to tell til you get there, so it’s kind of a roll of the dice. The door is sticky and the sign is never on so I always feel like I’m breaking in when I go by to check. I’ve never had anything but the pho, and it’s decent even if it does take a lot longer than you would expect for a bowl of soup to take.
Went on a cold, snowy night and of course had to order the namesake, the oxtail pho. Nice hint of mint in the broth, though overall the broth wasn’t as flavorful as I’d hoped. Still, an overall good meal at a decent price.
Pretty good
I may have chosen the wrong thing on the menu. I ordered beef and broccoli with white rice and Thai tea. Overall not bad , but it lacked seasoning. It was rather bland in flavor. The Thai tea was made from a powder base which always confuses me - why would a business invest in a product that rarely produces a high quality product. I would say invest in a tea base or concentrate and really pour into your product quality. Average experience, service was great.
Every few months I give Oxtail a try to see if the quality of their pho has increased. Every time I’m disappointed. Their banh mi are very good, but the pho broth is cloudy and not nearly as flavorful as any of the half dozen other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. I’ve tried both dine in and take out, for take out they give a woefully small amount of jalapeños and about an eight of a lime which isn’t the biggest problem but if they’re skimping on those accoutrements one must assume they’re skimping on ingredients for the broth as well. Really a bummer since they were stellar when they first opened.
