Was here for the first time a couple weeks ago. Best grilled swordfish at a Jersey Shore restaurant ever. And we are tough critics!
Service was excellent.
Would love to come back when the weather is better (we came on a rainy night)
A great spot on the water, amazing food selection, fantastic service, and a fun cocktail menu!

Food was excellent, server moved a little too quickly for me and did not listen to my drink order. She was still tipped at 20% because of getting the order out quickly. This is a must when visiting the area.

We had a party of 7 tonight with almost a $400 bill. The food was great. The service was absolutely horrible! So disappointed. Won't be back.
Super delicious food and friendly attentive staff.
It's a very surprising little gem down a road and in the middle of the occustumed reeds and cattails there is this rustic restaurant. Inside is a charming old fashioned mid century fresh fish restaurant complete with a raw bar. The food is excellent and the views are wonderful!!
Mussels in red were great as was my pulled pork sandwich. Jumbo shrimp cocktail only 3 shrimp, pics were 4 oh well. Blackened chicken was great and alot more chicken than any weve had in a while. Nice people, great view. Def be back

Cool spot with a very good menu. Went in December so no outdoor was available, but it looks awesome out there for a summer day. Bar is extremely uncomfortable to sit and eat at though, there's no knee room. However the place has tons of seating for eating

Food was fantastic, history of the place is interesting, there is a sign on the wall marking the height of the flood waters during Sandy!

10+ years I’ve been coming here to hang and chat with historic Smithville locals. Gary at the Boat bar is an Ace!
I travel professionally, this is one of my favorite restaurants! 10/10 A+ MICHELIN ⭐️Recommended

This is a nice restaurant. The staff is very friendly, the food is good. The location offers a transient dock for boaters.
