Went for a late lunch. We thought we were going to Romanelli's other location. We have always enjoyed Romanelli's On The Green in Linwood, a straightforward breakfast and lunch place where the food is always fresh, the portions generous and the waitstaff pleasant. This used to be a sister restaurant. Where we ended up is a whole different operation. The name has changed and, I assume, so has the ownership. However, the online information is out of date and confusing. Now back to our horrible experience. See the pictures. We asked for lemon. What we got was mushy putrescence. I ordered onion soup at $9. It came out lukewarm, covered with stale, fried onion bits, and it was close to flavorless. And those delights were a long time coming, although only one other table was occupied. There was a sole waiter. He had to cover long distances. The youngish female manager was apologetic and accommodating. We felt sorry for her. Finally, the location is in the countryside, far from other venues. (Stick with Romanelli's On The Green to sate your appetite.)
First time visit. Will definitely return. Amazing pizza and drinks.
The place itself is really nice, and there are some cute spots for photos. The appetizers were good too, so we were hopeful in the beginning. Unfortunately, all four of our entrees were super salty. At first, we thought it was just three of them, but later our fourth friend admitted theirs was just as bad—they just didn’t want to make a fuss. The staff did offer to bring something else out, but by then everyone was done eating and the kids were getting restless, so it didn’t really help. It was honestly disappointing, and we won’t be returning. It’s a nice-looking spot, but looks aren’t everything when the food doesn’t match.
Interesting enough menu, although nothing that I couldn't have prepared as well or better. Service incredibly slow, apps not brought out until after meal arrived. When we inquired, food runner went to find the waitress who came to see what was missing. Apps came out as we finished meal - piping hot which tells me they were never put in. No additional beverages/refills offered even when glasses were empty.
There was a live band while we were there. Loud and tiny sounding, distracting to conversation.
Such a shame, great location and concept. Need to get their act together.
This is a steady spot in our rotation of places to go. I have read several reviews about slow service and have to agree that I have found this to be an issue at times, but it isn’t a dealbreaker. A lot of places are short staffed right now and I find that service is slower overall in the area due to this. Last night it took quite some time for our server to come to the table because they appeared to be short staffed, but when she did she apologized and explained that she has been busy. I have industry experience and understood, so we moved on from it. From that point on she was AMAZING!! Ariana is an absolute gem. She was attentive and friendly the entire evening. We were there until closing getting to know her and she made sure everything was great the whole night.
The drinks are delicious. The food is great. I have been there for lunch and breakfast and definitely recommend giving it a chance. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday they have mimosas with $1 refills!! Food recommendations: maple Pork chop, goat cheese artichoke chicken, any pizza, eggs Benedict.
As far as the bad reviews…. A little grace goes a long way. We are all just out here doing the best we can.
I dont want to give 1 star because I want new restaurants to succeed but they need to respect the money and time of their customers. The Chicken & Waffles was raw and even the bite I took had no flavor.the Huevos Ranchero Skillet had no meat. It was maybe 2-3 tiney pieces of chorizo. Do Not Waste your money here for breakfast. I have never had dinner so I can't judge
The wait time there is crazy even when you order online. Staff are rude, they judge you from appearance.
Love this place and love Juan!! He is the best server ever!!!

We just had Romanelli’s food truck cater our daughter’s wedding with 130 guests, and we could not have been more thrilled with the experience! We opted to go with their BBQ as it was a backyard wedding. Where do I begin? The brisket was tender and flavorful, and the ribs literally fell off the bone—everyone raved about how delicious the food was. The service was professional, seamless, and everything was delivered on time and with a smile. The crew was so helpful and thorough even in to their cleanup. All the leftovers were neatly wrapped for us for easy reheating!
Drew, the owner, was such a pleasure to work with. He was responsive, accommodating, and made the entire process stress-free. On top of all this, the pricing was incredibly reasonable for the quality and service provided. We honestly highly recommend Romanelli’s for any event—5 stars all the way! Thank you guys!!!!

Was not impressed with the "homemade" pasta(thin spaghetti), which was very soft, and texture was lost in the cooking. We came with a party of 6 of Italian ethnicity and all indicated their meals were good. Our server was very nice and accommodating.

I very seldom write reviews but I found it necessary to share our experience. Saturday but not very busy. We had the most God-awful dinner ever. The food was the quality no better then a diner. I ordered and was looking forward to my crab cake dinner being close to the shore. Not even close They were full of filler, overcooked, I didn't even eat the second one. The risotto was thick like it was left over from yesterday and the asparagus was tough and stringy. We even had to send are cocktails back! Service was slow. We waited a long time just to get our salad. Even the salad came with ONE cherry tomato cut in half! Everything from start to finish was a disaster. We have eaten at Romanelli's before and the food was good, bad it seems to really be going down hill.
I was a chef in the Lehigh Valley Pa. for many years. I'm not being over judgemental but this was very disappointing. We had a cread in the restaurant business:
"You're not allowed a bad night"
You should be ashamed!!
