It saddens me that I have to leave a bad review because this place used to be a good place to go and have a fresh salad years ago. I wasn’t going to leave a bad review but this unsanitary situation has happened to be twice! Yesterday November 24, 2024 I walked it to Saladworks in Galloway at about 6:15pm. I told the visibly agitated server what I wanted and I watched him dig his hands in the lettuces “with gloves on” and put it in the bucket where they store the lettuce and placed it in the mixing bowl. He then did the same with the cheese, chicken, etc. I took a deep breath and walked out! This situation didn’t sit well with me so I decided to call the shop “no one answer till the third call” I asked of I can speak to a supervisor. They man on the other end said the supervisor left for the day. So I explained what happened and his response was, “Yeah the shop is about to close and we don’t have utensils because they’re being washed.” UNBELIEVABLE! So I say “Y’all place of business closes at 7pm and it’s 6:20pm but I arrived at 6:15pm the utensils should’ve still be available for you to use because y’all are not closed for the day. It’s very unprofessional and disgusting how y’all handle people food.” And I hung the phone up. Unfortunately this is the second time that happened to me regarding Saladworks. They workers do not change their gloves after touching different surfaces including the dirty charts and buckets they touch with they hands with gloves on and processes to touch customers food with the same gloves on. That was my last time coming to Saladworks.

Ordered online. One salad was missing cheese requested. One salad paid extra for egg and there was maybe 1/2 a hardboiled egg. We ordered brownies & they were missing.

Came here at 7:25pm august 1st. There was a gentleman named Julian working by himself upfront while the other employee was on the side texting. He asked her to help him with the next customer (which was me) and she walked away annoyed. I waited patiently & ordered my salad and Julian had amazing customer service. I asked him if I could give him a personal tip & he said that he would have to ask her which I concluded she was the shift leader or manager at the time. My salad was really good & because of Julian my experience wasnt as bad. But that ladies gesture was very rude & just very unnecessary.

I had high expectations since I’ve had good experiences at Saladworks near cherry hill area. So I ordered and was disappointed. Lettuce looked like it could’ve been fresher. Some of the blueberries and strawberries were turning bad. There was barely any chicken. I was expecting a nice grilled piece of chicken. Not the chopped up pieces. The roll was loose in bag, maybe put in salad so it’s not loose. Was disappointed to say the least. Like another review said, you could absolutely order from a small local restaurant and get way more for your buck. Figured I’d switch it up but I will stick with local restaurant. If you were to put this “salad” next to the salad you get from Carangis or Romanellis, it would be laughable. I don’t see how you can be “Saladworks” and not have exceptional salads. I guess it went downhill since I last tried it. The brownie was decent but looked a little beat up.

Very expensive for mostly lettuce. Very little chicken on salad ! I can buy a great salad from local restaurant for less with much more protein then mostly lettuce ! Taste was ok. Portions not worth the value . Great a more chicken in a Wawa premade salad ! Also rolls loose in bag with salad . I purchased 5 salads all were lacking in chicken .
