Had the pleasure of trying The Cracked Egg Cafe this morning and had their famous homemade sausage and gravy over biscuits with potatoes! The best I ever had! I will definitely be back, even better that I am right around the corner. Great food and outstanding customer service!

The food here was excellent. We ate outside and our main reason for coming was the sausage gravy of which I am a connoisseur and approve of. Different than your southern Hardy’s or Cracker Barrel but still delicious and recommended.
We are outside though and the bees were pretty bad. I think the short trees attract them along with the syrup and sugar left over on the tables once the food has been eaten. I recommend eating inside if you have an allergy.
Otherwise though, 5 stars! Thank you.

I loved it here! Breakfast was awesome. I had a Western omelette that was ,in my opinion, the best in the state. The atmosphere was quaint but very friendly. I recommend this place wholeheartedly! ?

This quaint country restaurant serves up a hearty breakfast with friendly service. The short stack pancakes ? are oversized and the home fries are homemade with the option to add pepper and onions. Come hungry, leave happy. Thanks Matt.

Food was great.. service amazing.. prices affordable!!! The place is quaint but everyone was extremely nice.. waitress gave my little man a lollipop and he was ecstatic.. the owner wore every hat.. he sat us.. cooked the food.. helped the waitress bring some of it out and gave me a refill.. we will be back!

I can't wait to eat here again, the staff was very friendly and pleasant. The food was very delicious and it's a cute little spot like a mom and pop shop. I enjoyed my short stack French toast with blueberries, and smoked ham it was the perfect delightful breakfast.

They don't have chickens!

If you look at the place you will find that surprising.

They do have;
Good tangy porl roll
Nice people
Reasonable prices
Cream chipped beef on weekends (sometimes)
Home fries with not quite enough season salt.
Cool T shirts

We try to choose small local places when traveling...rather than chain restaurants. This fit the bill. Very small place...a little tight with seating, but great breakfast. Excellent eggs and homefries!
