Stopped for lunch with my grandson, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Just fun. The hamburger was really good and I was even able to get it on a lettuce wrap, a lettuce wrap that worked! Awesome place.
Dietary restrictions: Since being diagnosed with diabetes several months ago, I have been seriously restricting my carbohydrate intake so anywhere I go rolls or a problem. I had forgotten my roles that I use at home so you can imagine my delight when I saw that they would put my hamburger on a lettuce wrap. Now I’ve ordered hamburgers on a lettuce wrap before, but usually the lettuce wrap doesn’t work very well, this one did it was perfect.

Took a detour when our regular go to in New Gretna “Sad Boyz” was closed. Front girls were super friendly. There were foods on Instagram that were no longer available or maybe a seasonal item. I asked for whole leaf lettuce on my burger… the girls went to the back to ask the owner. His response was only shredded lettuce was available as the whole leaf lettuce was specifically for the lettuce wraps… he didn’t have “an extra” piece. Fries were good… family size was more like a large. Napkins were not available on the tables and with the amount of grease dripping from the burgers … we needed many. Burger came in a small box which was messy and hard to handle. Burgers were just OK… too greasy for us. Sad Boyz Burgers are still my go to !!! Here’s where the beef is! Wow, what a selection of burgers. You can’t possible leave here hungry. Small space but great staff! it was clean and organized. Everything g we ordered was delicious and made as ordered. Tator tots were perfect
If you haven't been to Tony Beef, here is your sign! Walking in you are greeted by the friendly staff, amazing rustic/farmhouse decor, and a very simple yet streamlined ordering tablet. First thing I'll say is that it smelled amazing when I walked in. The menu is easy to read and even for people with indecisiveness, they even show their most popular burgers. I'm a fan of big macs from McDonald's so the Big Schmack was a no brainer for me to get. I added fried onion strings on top and I must say it was gone within ten minutes of me getting it. I knew one of the owners in high school but never had the chance to try this due to being in Northern NJ. I've tried many of the popular burger joints all around (shake shack, in N out, five guys, Fuddruckers, and mostly every fast food place) and this place is leagues above the rest. I won't beg any of you to visit but once you guys come here you probably won't stop. Definitely give this place a try
