When I visited &grain, I was extremely uncomfortable with the behavior and appearance of the young lady employee working at the register. The staff member had her stomach fully exposed and was showing a significant amount of skin, which I have never seen in a restaurant or food-service business before. This raised serious concerns about professionalism and food safety, as exposed skin should not be near food handling areas.
In addition, I personally witnessed this employee throw the food at a customer instead of handing it to them in a respectful manner. That behavior was completely unacceptable, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Management and ownership need to do better by enforcing a proper uniform and addressing customer service standards. Employees should be dressed appropriately and treat customers with basic respect at all times.

We love &grain and since they opened, we always stop in, when we are in the area. The owner and staff are great. The sandwiches/salads are excellent. Bread and pastries are the best in town. ALL of them. We had a mini-family reunion there yesterday. So comfy. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Absolutely delicious! Had chicken pesto sandwich and it was outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the pesto was fresh and flavorful, and everything came together on great bread. You can tell quality ingredients are used in this kitchen. Friendly service and a great spot—I’ll definitely be back while in the area.

Their Grilled Cheese with goat cheese, brie, and prosciutto di Parma is next level. The flavors are perfectly balanced—rich, creamy, savory, and crispy all at once. It’s easily one of the best grilled cheeses I’ve ever had and worth the visit alone.
The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the quality is always consistent. If you’re in Garwood and want an amazing sandwich with bold, delicious flavors, &Grain is a must-try. Highly recommend it!

I got delivery. The food was hot delicious and packed very well. I had the Cobb salad and a limited edition dessert of chocolate croissant bread pudding. I loved every single bite. Thank you so much for lunch. Can’t wait for the next time!

What a great place in Garwood. Great food, drinks, ambience, and Customer Service. We stopped in here because I had a coupon for being new to Westfield. Kind of like a welcome to the neighborhood packet. We were greeted so nicely by the young girl behind the counter. She made some suggestions and I went with her half raspberry half black iced tea, which was a very good recommendation. It was very refreshing. For our meals I ordered the harvest turkey club and my man ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich. The sandwiches were gigantic and we ended up taking half of each home. The bread my club was made on was so good. I ended up taking the sandwich apart because it was too thick not to. I brought that extra bread home as well. My man sandwich was excellent. He ordered the chipotle mayo on the side and it was perfect. They got a lady told us that their corn muffins are so good and gave us two on the house. She seemed so proud of the place that I thought she was an owner. I actually asked her if she was and she said she was just an employee. I told her that she seems like she was because she seemed to take such great pride in the place. She was such a sweetheart. .

The workers were extremely nice and the food was absolutely good too! It’s a nice place to go when you want to be one on one with someone or multiple at once. The worker with blue and purple hair extremely worked well, very communicative and attentive. 😼

This was my first time going- and I think this is my new favorite cafe. The girl in the front was so helpful, her name was Sally. She really made my morning, she had such a bubbly personality and was very patient with all the questions I had about the menu. 100% recommend &Grain
