This was my first time going- and I think this is my new favorite cafe. The girl in the front was so helpful, her name was Sally. She really made my morning, she had such a bubbly personality and was very patient with all the questions I had about the menu. 100% recommend &Grain

I’ve been coming to &grain since 2017 and the quality of the sandwiches and salads has been consistent ever since! The harvest turkey club is my all time fave! The ingredients are all fresh and this food is good clean food! They have a bakery in the cafe where they make all the bread FRESH! Would recommend the apple salad which is 10/10 the combo of apples and house made candied nuts is so good - especially if you like crunchy salads. Perfect for fall! The staff is so friendly and make you feel at home. The owner truly cares about the quality of the food.

The last time I was in &Grain was years ago! I moved out of the area but visited family recently and was so excited to see that it’s still thriving! I got the Cobb salad and was pleased to find out that it’s still soooo good and quality has never changed! My boyfriend got the Chicken Pesto sandwich and he really enjoyed it! I have to make more frequent trips to visit!

Our favorite place in the area for breakfast and lunch! The pastries and bread are fresh made every day and the Stumptown cold brew is my daily necessity. The must try items are the baguette, croissants, and corn muffins. They have seasonal pastries like the ginger cookie that is insanely good. You definitely can’t skip the breakfast sandwiches or the lunch sandwiches. The ciabatta roll with egg, cheese and bacon is outstanding. The pesto chicken sandwich is another favorite. I can’t say enough about this great team led by John the owner. I have been going here for over 10 years and will continue to go! Thanks again for another great meal!

John provided the best lunch for 40 people at RCCA in Belleville- not only is the food such high quality, so is the customer service! I already have him catering another lunch appointment next week with more to come. Everyone loves the sandwiches with homemade bread so much! Bravo!

John is one of the coolest guys I’ve met in a while. Very thoughtful & will talk you up a storm. The coffee was incredible too. You won’t regret it.

&Grain is one of my favorite local spots! Their freshly baked bread, made right on the premises daily, is always incredible and takes every sandwich to the next level. You can really taste the quality in all their food — everything is prepared with the freshest ingredients.
On top of that, their coffee game is strong — they serve Stumptown, which says it all if you know, you know. They also have a great selection of teas if that’s more your vibe.
They also serve up a great breakfast selection, perfect for starting the day off right. Whether it’s breakfast, a quick coffee, a sandwich, or just enjoying some freshly baked bread, &Grain never disappoints. A true gem in Garwood!

I recommend all sandwiches but my favorite one is the chicken Caesar ciabatta sandwich. A salad but sandwich style. It’s so good it’s a must get. Workers there are friendly. I come here often for the corn muffins there the best I’ve ever had.

Don’t get me started on the kouign Ammans it’s delicious and a must have for sure. The workers were friendly and even recommended me on what to try.
