Easter Sunday byob,sizeable menu.Best plate I've had in a long while.The appetizers ...mini works of art, done to perfection, just like the ones in the picture,lol.Chicken Murphy Xtra peppers, the cherry peppers kicking it up a couple notches, right where you want it in spiciness,makes you slowdown to catch your breath .The desserts? Forget it I was already stuffed.Old school casual Ironbound open dining area ,chill atmosphere,the kids were wonderful they earned their tips.l would definitely bring a date or good friend here . Sharing this review after receiving the pan sear salmon Lorenzo via Uber eats. I must say I’m impressed. So many times you order salmon out it is overcooked and dry. This arrived perfectly cooked and tasting very good. Broccoli beans and tomatoes were delicious as well. Nice portion size as well. Arrived with small side house salad and a nice loaf of fresh bread which I was not expecting, Uber eats menu did not state so but a very welcome addition. Overall a great dish that I would recommend.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in the area by far! Prices are fair and the food is so fresh and so delicious. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant. Restauranteur Luis is a terrific host as well. He will make sure your experience is the best! Try Lorenzo’s for lunch as well!

Lorenzo's seafood is top notch. I've only ordered takeout but the freshness is evident. From their scallops, flounder, & calamari, the options are plentiful. Also the chicken soup is delicious.

Oh boy, where to start. Well, I certainly do not suggest eating here! It is not absolutely horrible, so I won't give them one star. But two stars feels too high. Put bluntly, the people here do not understand how to make Italian food and the prices relative to the quality of the food is not worth it. Rudy's, which is average at best, is substantially better than this place and is like two blocks away. For reference, I regularly make my own pasta from scratch, I'm dating an Italian woman, and I search out hole in the wall gems in NYC, NJ, FL, NH, and many other places for food. So when I tell you, this place cannot make a sauce and is overpriced for what it is in terms of quality and portions please take me seriously. You can easily make better Italian food at home, or any other Italian restaurant you pick will most likely be better quality and value. Overall: 1)Not worth the price. 2)Cannot properly make a thick sauce or get the flavor right for classic Italian dishes. Got a chicken Marsala and the sauce tasted nothing like it should. I tried this place twice since moving to Garwood because they are within walking distance and both times their sauces were watery and tasted nothing like they should for the dish I got. 3)if you must eat Italian in Garwood I suggest Nola's(3.7 star, though Vinny's pan pizza in Millburn with their shoestring pepperoni has better pizza) or Rudy's(3 star). But if you are willing to branch out plenty of better Italian food can be found within half an hour.
Absolutely fantastic. We went on New Years DAY. Party of 6 and a child. Everyone got something different and all of us were very happy with our meal. It is a BYOB a grate plus. We should have gone sooner.We will definitely go back.

Showed up for dinner one night with family without reservations. They took us in very quickly. Your typical Italian family style resturant atmosphere with great portions and great flavor. Was surprisingly pleased with my experience. Manager even came out to greet us for a personal touch.

Had chicken murphy wasn't what I expected from a traditional Chicken Murphy. below average, But the group I was with seemed to enjoy what they got. The hottie toppes shrimp was very good. new owners but seems to be missing that something special in there entrees

Under new ownership since around 2021. Delicious Italian cuisine and great service. The owners care about the customers and will accommodate special requests or substitutions. It's a relaxing atmosphere. It's a BYOB restaurant. They have a separate room for groups having private parties and for Special occasions.
