We have been going to the Magic Grill for over 30 years. It is quick - if you want but never rushed if you don't. We love that everyone gets to select their own ingredients from 3 meats- chicken, pork , beef- super thinly sliced-12 or so vegetarian choice- zucchini, bok choy, onions, carrots, pineapple, peppers, baby corns, chives and a variety of sauces to suite every taste.

craveable steamed dumplings!! the only drawback was a few months ago my dad and i grabbed a bite here and saw a worker drop plates & bowls on the floor, then put them back on a shelf ready for serving. safe to say haven’t been there since but i still miss those dumplings

I Grew up with the Round Grill in New Brunswick and was devastated when they closed. This place is just like it and when I went here for the first time the nostalgia and flashbacks the first bite gave me has had me wanting to come back regularly. I go for the main course but definitely get the dumplings and I love the green tea! Oh and they also can add shrimp or scallops if ask (not for me but i figure it can't hurt to say). All in all I have mentioned this place to others and it is very well loved by all who know of it. The love is very much deserved! Thank you for the great food, service, and experience!!!
My husband & I were delighted to find a Mongolian BBQ spot in NJ. We experienced this type of cooking many, many years ago in Napa Valley. The Magic Grill is about 25 miles from where we live but I tell you that it was well worth the trek which we will definitely be doing again. We were greeted at the door by the owner, John. We were very familiar with how to approach the array of ingredients you choose for what you want. There included your choice of meat followed by an array of very fresh vegetables. In addition, there were several sauces and oils. All gets cooked on an open flat surface tossed using bamboo sticks. Whether you have experienced this type of cuisine before or not, you should go to the Magic Grill! The food and staff are great. Can’t wait to go back! Oh by the way, it’s all you can eat and includes soup and dumplings. Yum! Also, hello to the owners wife who assisted us as we left. I highly recommend checking this place out.
