Solid food in a restaurant that feels like you are eating in someone's house, like a large family room with a fireplace and some tables, booths, and a bar. Lots of TV's. We sat at bar and bartender was super friendly. Bar pie and chicken sandwich were both very tasty. Just a very nice warm and homey place.
Parking: Huge lot
Kid-friendliness: Seemed like lots of families.

My group of friends and I go here once or twice a month. The last two times were bad experiences.
November 22nd we went to watch the band of that night, we arrived at around 7 pm, we specifically asked for a table and not a booth. I have rheumatoid arthritis, the month prior when they had a band for Oktoberfest we were seated in a booth and I ended up in a lot of pain afterwards from being on a flat surface for so long. We stated to our server that we were looking forward to the band and planned to be there quite a while.
Just after the band set up, I see two people pointing at our table (one of which is our server) and the table in front of us, our server walks over and asks us if we plan on being there much longer… we remind her that yes we wanted to see the band and she responds saying they need to remove our table so we have 5 minutes to move to a booth or leave. Then the manager (possibly the owner) goes to the table in front of us and apologizes to people that arrived maybe 10 minutes before but does not even acknowledge us. So we left.
Last night, December 5th we decided to give them another shot because we had a friend visiting from out of town. We walked in and I had a box with Buntinis for our friend’s birthday.
For context- We had previously celebrated my birthday there and my friends called ahead to ask if there was a charge to bring in a cake from outside, they were told no, even dropped off the cake before we planned on being there, the staff brought the cake out with the candles lit after dinner and it was in fact no charge.
So our server was super nice and we ordered. While we were eating he comes out to tell us that his manager says there is a charge for us to eat the cake in there. I question that because just 2 months prior that was not the case. He says he can get me the manager and she says that they’ve always charged. I explained that this is not how it went for my birthday celebration. She wanted us to pay $1 per person to eat it in there, it’s not even about the price though, it was the attitude for $4. Then after that our server was very cold and stopped being attentive to our table.
We work in a corporation and work with people (clients) ourselves, so the approach was disappointing. Also, we always spend close to $200 there and believe in tipping well.
We won’t be back, their food is consistently good but we go there to enjoy ourselves, not to be treated rudely. I usually post positive reviews, it is incredibly rare for me to do this but I don’t want anyone else to feel like we did.

My friend's and I loved coming here for our girls night out once a month. The food is great, prices aren't too bad and the service mostly good until our last night out. We went to have dinner a few drinks and listen to the band and they sat us at a table up front. Just as the band was about to go on our waitress comes over and asks us if we were going to be there all night. umm yes, that was the reason we were there and we mentioned that when you took our drink order. The owner decided to remove the two front tables and they put us on a time for when we had to finish up and move or leave. The kicker was the manager or owner went to the other table that had to move and apologized to them. And not a word to us. Very disappointing!
12/5/2024 So we decided to try this place again thinking our last visit and the horrible service was a fluke. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday. Something we had done previously before. We brought our own cake. The last time we did it there was no issue. We called ahead and even dropped off the cake ahead of time so we could surprise our friend. They hid the cake and brought it out to us with candles lit and helped sing Happy birthday! That was why last night when our server came over and told us that there was an additional charge for bringing our own dessert we were surprised. We even spoke to the manager who had a too bad so sad attitude and our server who was initially quite attentive pretty much disappeared after our talk with the manager. Definitely wouldn't recommend and won't be going back.

We recently hosted our son‘s birthday party at Vintage Tavern, and we were thrilled with the experience we had! The team was very accommodating and responsive throughout the whole process of scheduling and organizing the event. The space was clean and organized and ready for us to decorate. We were able to bring in two entertainers – a balloon artist and a face painter – which were awesome for the kids at the party. The food was delicious; everyone was raving about the quality of the entrées and the meal overall. They also supplied a donut stand for us to bring donuts as a fun dessert option. Another perk is that we got to take home the leftover food that was not served from the family style platters – after a very busy day of the birthday party, having the leftovers at home later on was so nice. We would highly recommend Vintage Tavern for any event you may host!
