During a recent visit to your restaurant with clients who have disabilities, the Manager approached our table to express concerns regarding the tipping patterns associated with our group. It was conveyed that servers often receive lower tips when our patrons dine at the establishment. However, it is important to note that the level of service provided did not meet professional standards.
Our clients appreciate their dining experiences, and it is troubling to perceive that they are being singled out due to their financial limitations. Furthermore, we were surprised to observe a note on the bills indicating that a 15% gratuity was mandatory. This practice appears to be inappropriate and may deter individuals with similar circumstances from returning to the restaurant.
It is vital to foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects all patrons, irrespective of their financial situation. We hope this feedback can contribute to improved service practices and enhance the overall dining experience for all guests.
Four sundaes were purchased and they were very low quality due to the portions of the toppings. We haven’t gotten sundaes in a few years but they had previously been very good. The Reese’s Pieces sundae I had was mostly a container of vanilla ice cream. There were no more than 10 candies, probably less because I had to dig around for them, and the chocolate and peanut butter toppings were minimal. I called and spoke to a manager to express my disappointment and she was very pleasant offering a replacement. She explained that recently the size of the scoops had been reduced and that the sundaes now only get one pump of a sauce. This type of sundae was not what we paid for and we will not purchase from Friendly’s again.

For $8 the Reese's pieces sundaes were pathetic. Hardly any Reese's pieces, peanut butter sauce, or chocolate sauce. Mostly a bowl of vanilla ice cream.
