First time here and the coffee is great. The space is perfect for studying, working or hanging out. The outdoor space is great also. Im a little disappointed in the lack of vegan options and knowledge of vegan sauces or alternatives by the staff. Im sure there are options for flavored lattes but no one working knew for sure. Im looking forward to going back.

The almond croissant I ordered was delicious and filling. My husband also enjoyed the chocolate croissant. We both ordered hot cocoa and it was meh. Tasted like watery chocolate instead of rich and creamy. It was busy while we were there and quickly became loud and overwhelming. Still it had a nice coffee shop vibe complete with barista with beret. Would probably come back again.

I have always been able to find everything on the menu generally available. But as a person who will pop in, I would think all should be available till closing. So to hear that most prepared items are unavailable because it is shut down an hour before closing is not cool.

I have worked in food service and know how long it takes to shut down a kitchen and clean everything. The place closes at 1700, which should be sufficient time for those employed to close and get home before it even gets dark.

What an amazing atmosphere and such great coffee! My first time going was a wonderful experience. I ordered the cinnamon bun latte and cinnamon roll and blueberry muffin and it was all so delicious! Best coffee I’ve had in a very long time. It was a gentle, comfortable, friendly and relaxing environment. Definitely recommend and going back very soon. Thank you for the wonderful visit.

Great coffee house in Glassboro, NJ. We love the coffee, and it’s a super inviting space with lots of options for comfortable seating and great workspaces. There’s music on the weekend, and the pastries are really good. We haven’t tried a sandwich here yet, but they look really good.

This is definitely a 5 star coffee shop. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons.

1. They do a good job of keeping things clean. BUT……. there’s a layer of grime on almost every table surface where people sit. The tables are wiped down regularly, but they all need a deep cleaning. It is common to see people use napkins like a placemat as they work to keep from sticking to the counter.

2. The prices are posted on a large wall menu, but they’re wrong. We’ve been coming here for a couple of months, and I think they’ve been wrong the entire time. I don’t mind personally, because I figured it out pretty quickly. But I’ve heard multiple people complain and they don’t do anything to make you aware. Even as people stand staring up at the menu, employees never mention the price change to anyone. Additionally, the prices are pretty steep, which makes things worse.

All in all, a really nice coffee shop.

High Grounds Coffee is one of those rare spots that immediately makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The warm atmosphere, the smell of freshly brewed coffee, and the friendly faces behind the counter all set the tone for an exceptional experience.

The service here is immaculate — every barista goes above and beyond to make sure your drink is exactly how you like it. They’re not just taking orders; they’re creating moments. You can tell they genuinely care about the people who walk through their doors.

And let’s talk about the almond croissant — absolutely divine. It’s perfectly flaky on the outside, with a soft, buttery almond filling that melts in your mouth. Paired with a hot latte or cold brew, it’s easily the highlight of any morning. You can taste the quality and love baked into every bite.

Whether you’re catching up with friends, getting some work done, or just treating yourself, High Grounds Coffee is the place to be. It’s more than a coffee shop — it’s an experience you’ll want to come back to again and again.

☕️✨ Highly recommend!

A relaxed chill place with a wonderful array of coffee preparations and counter height seating. I got an espresso which was smooth and buttery and a pour over which I thought was fine. It is the only coffee shop within 30 miles that even offers pour overs. They offer every kind of espresso/milk/ice blend you would want and a nice selection of breakfast finger foods. I bought their coffee beans and have been using them to make my own aromatic espresso daily. It is a very smooth bean. A definite repeat trip is necessary.

Had an ice coffee with vanilla and caramel drizzle and a croissant turkey sausage, egg, and cheese. The coffee tasted FRESH and not too sugary. The breakfast sandwich was good, cheese melted, eggs seasoned, just ask for a side of condiments if you don’t like it dry. Atmosphere is great, plenty of space to sit and plug up and study as well. Love it ❤️
