Ordered Black Garlic Ramen from this location and halfway through eating it when found a dead Black Widow spider floating in my Ramen soup. Needless to say, U won't be ordering from here again.

Tuesday July 15th, 2025, I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen and halfway through eating it I found a dead black widow spider in my Ramen soup. I'm never ordering from here again and caution others from ordering from here as well

A very cool spot. Not fancy, but cool and the food was great!!

I love the Rayaki fries more than the ramen lol

But the black garlic ramen is top notch, as per Japanese flavor profile

Im a regular at this place, out of all the other locations this is my personal favorite, today I invited my family from NYC to come down here to eat just to find the place closed 3-4 hrs earlier than posted online. Tried calling previously and no one picked up. Just disappointing.

All around great place. Loved the ramen and Yakitori. Flavors melted in my mouth. Fast service reasonable pricing, great portions. Will return...

Good food, decent service (adequate but lacked some friendliness), NOT a child-friendly atmosphere (some overly sexual wall art and hardcore/screamo music on the playlist). Good food + bad vibe = not returning unfortunately.

Short version: Good place. Go. Try something new. ๐Ÿ™‚

Longer/Meandering Version: I've always been curious about Japanese cuisine. This was my first little attempt to begin to learn. It's an attractive space that feels open and airy. The anime theme isn't overdone if that's a concern for anyone. The menu offers sushi and skewers and entrees. I admit to coming in with a preconception that I should order lots because I was hungry and there was no way the dishes were going to be filling. I was wrong. I ordered takoyaki for an appetizer and the pork belly over rice as an entree. Portions were generous. I couldn't finish. The pork belly has been described as melt-in-your-mouth-tender. I can confirm this.

My hostess/server was gracious and understanding when I asked for silverware because I just can't manage chopsticks. (Thank you, thank you, a thousand times, thank you. ๐Ÿ˜ )

The takoyaki was a new experience for me. I was curious. My curiosity was satisfied. It wasn't my personal favorite, but it may well be the favorite of many others. I'll be trying the skewers next time. There's a great deal to choose from and that's definitely a positive.

If you're in the Glassboro area and are on a "hey, gonna try new stuff" kick like me, stop in, try it out, come back, try more stuff out. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Good place. Great people. Give it a shot...
a few shots actually. ๐Ÿ™‚

Really tasty ramen, sushi, buns, and lots of flavors of tea. Food was brought out quickly, and the atmosphere was very cool

Parking: Located in a shopping area near a shoprite so there's plenty of space to park
