Decided to order from the menu instead of AYE. Everything was very good the miso soup, seaweed salad and sashimi boat for 2. The dessert was delicious, we ordered tempura ice cream. Service was fast and superb.

All you can eat is great.
Small and good place to ear. Not far from Rowan Univ. It was crowded on a Friday evening, but we got seated at the last time available in less than 5 min. The food is great, and the sushi rolls are fresh. Got the Teriyaki Salmon bento box.
Food and service were decent at Tomo Sushi Japanese Restaurant. The sushi was fresh but not particularly memorable. Service was prompt, though not overly attentive. Overall, a solid experience, but there’s room for improvement.
Love the 'All you can eat' sushi. I have been to Tomo's many times since 2015 and the sushi is the 'Bomb.' The wait staff is very attentive and you can eat sushi until you bust. I know my limit, so I only eat my limit!
Always Awesome Food
I threw up the sweet potato roll immediately, it tastes like old grease. And the cashier had an attitude when I asked a question.
Everything is excellent
The staff here are so unfriendly and rude. Been coming here for years, but after tonight, I will go elsewhere. They act like serving you is a nuisance. The one waitress (you know who she is if you come here often) stares at you your whole dinner making sure you’re eating everything. She is also miserable.

Great quality sushi! Varied selection for AYCE, absolutely good value for $27.95
Hands down, the best sushi rolls and sashimi in South Jersey.
I went with my partner, who loves their food, but I don’t eat fish. I wasn’t eating, and my partner opted for the all-you-can-eat. I understand their concerns about sharing, but the way the staff handled it was uncomfortable. They seated a table directly behind us in an empty restaurant, then sat across from us, watching and laughing. My partner and I won’t be returning after this experience.
Good food doesn’t excuse poor service. There are more respectful ways to enforce policies without making guests feel uneasy.

This is the BEST all you can eat BYOB place in this area. They have a very good and wide selection of sushi and other Japanese dishes they make it all fresh right there on the spot very simple menu you choose the quantity from Philly roll to sashimi. You can also order a regular meal if you don’t want to do the all you can eat. This is better than the garbage Chinese buffet across the street. Next-door to this place is a liquor store you can get beer and wine and walk right next-door and sit at the bar or sit at the table and they will bring you glasses for your wine, sake or beer. ???
