Grochowicz Farm Market & Mama G's Ice Cream

I stumbled upon this delightful ice cream gem quite by chance during a drive, and I couldn't resist stopping on my way back. It turned out to be one of those serendipitous moments that linger in your memory! As soon as I took my first spoonful, I was transported back to the carefree days of my childhood. The flavors were a nostalgic embrace, each bite rich with the sweetness of yesteryears.

I enjoyed it so much that I couldn't leave empty-handed; I had to take home a couple of pints to savor later. My kids, on the other hand, were absolutely enchanted by the charming back area. There were inviting chairs nestled beneath a grand tree, providing the perfect oasis for them to run, play, and squeal with delight. Their laughter filled the air as they darted back and forth for more ice cream, relishing their favorite flavors just as much as I did. This experience was not just about the ice cream— it was about creating joyful memories together as a family, and that's truly what makes it special.

They have such wonderful produce and I love supporting a local farmer. I'm so glad that to truly live within walking distance. They are always so pleasant and friendly. Cute market shop with a variety of jams, spices, sauces etc. And of course my favorite item... ice cream! If you have time definitely get a scoop or two, a sundae, soft serve, and sit on the lawn with goats nearby while enjoying a delicious treat. We go almost every weekend (vacations, family celebrations. Pr holidays are the only reasons we skip).

I love it here! I've been a few times and I always have a nice experience and some good ice cream. We love when we can go at a time when the goats are out and we get to feed them. For a couple quaters, you can get some feed for the goats, and there's a hand washing station when you're done! This most recent time, I went with my fiancé and we got the dulce de leche and the chocolate raspberry ice creams. So good!
