A beautiful old building and done up tastefully circa 1920s. Excellent food and drinks and a very friendly and helpful staff. Was there for a birthday party and plan to come back for dinner in the future. Nothing not to like about this place.

We booked our baby shower here about 2 months before the date for the Side Car room. We thought we'd have about 25 guests at first, but we ended up having 50, which they were able to accommodate. The max capacity for that room is 60 people. They have a package where you can choose either a sit down (slightly more expensive), or a buffet and you get to choose four entrees. Drinks are included in the price (bloody marys, mimosas, wine, and beer). For food, we ended up picking the salmon with vegetables, steak, French toast with bacon and sausage, and penne vodka. It was a nice variety and our guests were saying how much they enjoyed the food. If you want dessert, it's an extra fee per person so we ended up bringing a custom cake from the bakery across the street.
If you want to decorate, there is a rectangular table they can set up, and two round high-tops. I'm sure they can set up more if you want, but it depends on how many guests you have. I would say 50 guests was a little bit snug but it was doable. There is one bathroom in the room so with that many guests, some people ended up using the restaurant bathroom instead of waiting. There's a sound system you can hook up to but only for iPhone because the android cable wasn't working so if you have an android, be sure to bring your own cords. My only feedback would be the bar situation. We had two people working our event, so they were handling everything - food, cleanup, and the bar. I felt that our guests weren't really able to take advantage of the bar because most of the time, no one was manning the bar, so there was confusion if it was self-serve or if they needed to wait for a bartender. If you can, I would splurge a little extra for the sit-down option because then maybe you can get carafes of drinks at each table. Or maybe you can get carafes with the buffet too, but it wasn't something I thought to ask beforehand since I didn't think it would be an issue for our guests to get a drink.
Overall, everything still went great and I would recommend Fitzgerald's if you have a special event.

Been a few times, Food is great, the atmosphere is also great and the staff is pleasant. The inside has an upscale pub aesthetic and there is also outdoor seating. On one occasion I ordered a pizza, the wrong pizza came and we sent it back as it wasn’t what we ordered, then it took about an hour for the pizza we originally ordered to come. On another occasion I didn’t receive the drink I ordered until after we received our appetizer and meal. We also over heard the table next to ours complain that they never got one of the orders and they had already finished their meal and were ready to leave. It’s a nice place but maybe understaffed

I went this past Sunday for a party and the staff was attentive and accommodating for all of the guests and especially my daughter. The little things like getting her a plate of orange slices make all the difference for people with kids.
Until I had been to a party at Fitzgerald's I didn't know you could rent the place for functions. Having experienced it first hand I would definitely recommend it.
As a side note, this is the only the only establishment that has my favorite beer on tap at all times, La Fin Du Monde.

The attention to detail in both service and cuisine was evident, and it greatly enhanced our dining experience. I’m happy to have found a hidden gem in the area and see myself coming back very soon. If you’re thinking about going, I recommend the rock shrimp, Malibu bay breeze, and make sure to ask for Naomi!
