I have brought my family here for dinners, brunch, and special occasions and it was always a nice Italian spot with a great owner who went the extra mile to make sure everyone was happy. Not sure what happened recently but this past weekend for Mother's Day was a very sad disappointment. I do not know if we will ever return after that. They couldn't even honor the majority of the Mother's Day menu on their website. Very confused by the whole thing and the bill hurt for the quality of food we were served. Hopefully they turn it around. Goodluck!
So disappointed…was looking forward to coming here. Party of 8 had 6:30 reservations. Took a long time for appetizers to come out and our meals started to come out at 8:45. Our waitress was pleasant but never offered apologies for meals taking over 2 hours. Apparently there was only one person in the kitchen but the place was not packed - there was our party of 8 a party of 4 and one of 6. We were not offered drinks or complimentary/discounted desserts. Food was good but not good enough for us to ever go there again. We did not have dessert, which we always get, because we did not want to wait for another hour.
So, unfortunately, the extremely long wait for food and the lack of acknowledging that there was an issue and the food being good but not great means this was a one time place for me and my group.
Solid pizza and salad. Very pleased with the thin crust , crunch , and quality of ingredients used. A fine dining experience available for take out.
The way the flavor hits your tongue presents a truly enjoyable taste. Authentic Italian cuisine.
Made a big online order and the food was disappointing. Stuffed artichoke sauce was bad and tiramisu was not edible, so I threw both away. The pasta lacked flavor. The eggplant parm was the only good dish.
I've been to Iachetti's Kitchen many times, for all different occasions (baby showers, Christmas parties, repast) The food never disappoints!! Everything I've had over the years has been delicious, John goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome. Great local establishment, and being a BYOB is a big plus. I highly recommend giving Iachetti's Kitchen a try.
I am a bit of a snob when it comes to Italian food. This place exceeded my expectations. I ordered the rigatoni with pomodoro, and my partner ordered the clams over pasta (white sauce). Both were excellent!
4 stars on food because eggplant parmigiana dish was really delicious. Others not as good.
2 stars on service because servers didn't smile, didn't say hello or welcome just 'do you have a reservation?' when there were only two tables filled in whole restaurant, didn't say thank you when putting down check, didn't say thank you when picking up cash payment which included 25% tip. While they lacklusterly did their jobs they seemed totally disinterested and bored. And it was early in evening so restaurant was only half-full so it is not like they were slammed. Atmosphere 3 stars because owner was friendly, liked the linen napkins and music playlist was great.
Great food with excellent service and welcoming ambiance.
Edit: the owner was very nice and adamant about my burnt pizza being fixed. I very much appreciate the level of care shown in that respect, certainly makes me want to give the most positive review I can.
Hence why I'll preface this with I'm picky about pizza. I'm from Jersey, grew up working for a pizza place in my hometown I have thoughts and opinions when I try a new pizza place. I bumped my review up to 4 stars because the pizza is fine in my opinion but not amazing and definitely toeing the line of being expensive for the product you get.
The crust is confusing because it's thin but not crispy, just kinda floppy and chewy. The sauce is pretty under seasoned, it's mostly adding a texture there's a surprising lack of tomato flavor on a margarita pizza which is just cheese tomato and basil. The cheese was pretty light which I wouldnt mind at all if the sauce really stuck out (Trenton tomato pie for example) but with the lack of flavor in the sauce it just fell kinda flat.

We had our daughter’s baptism at Iachetti’s and it couldn’t have been better! John made everything so easy— from custom menu to BYO drop off and everything in between. The service was incredible— attentive, accommodating and KIND. Food was 10/10. The eggplant crisps and calamari were some of our favorites! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you John and the Iachetti crew!!!
Wheelchair accessibility: My uncle is in a wheelchair and no issues dining here!

With a short amount of notice, John pulled together a beautiful private family dinner for us as we grieved the loss of my cousin. Everything was amazing. The food, the service and the empathy for what we were going through. John took care of everything and we can't wait to come back under better circumstances. Thank you John for making a stressful day easier!

DELIZIOSA "I went for dinner, and everything was wonderful! The food was delicious—I had the crab cake special (yum!) and then the salmon special. It was cooked perfectly, just as I requested. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely."

This is your standard american italian spot that you go to when you are craving the classics. Big portions and it satisfies a craving. I can appreciate that. Now the food isn’t 5 stars. The pizza was heavy and just ok. Nothing made me jump out of my seat. Heres the good news… its byob too. Check it out.
