Please avoid the PASSAIC LOCATION for takeout. If you can avoid this place don’t order from here. I ordered through Grubhub and the way the food was packaged not even an animal would accept it. The lady wanted to argue about how it was the driver but the birria container was clearly left open! A load is BS. Never again. Unprofessional as can be. The food was completely soaked and ruined.

The owner is a warm friendly guy. Great staff, reasonably priced, excellent food and margaritas. Hands down the BEST Carne Asada on the East coast.

They mix a mean margarita. The burritos are great and a bargain. Great salsa and terrific guacamole. A great neighborhood haunt.

Food is ridiculously expensive and not good. I ordered the tacos and the food was the most bland tasting stuff I've ever eaten. No flavor, no seasonings, no spice, nothing. Literally just meat in a shell. My wife got the shrimp over salad, and that too was bland.

Vegetarian options: The spinach and feta quesadilla is crazy delicious. It’s my favorite and my go to. Great margaritas too! Patty the bartender is awesome.

Anna, and G.Matt as hosts were excellent. The food was great. Very comfortable atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. Great environment and definitely will be back!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID got a taco (hard) with lunch combo that was packaged on top of cheese and other wet stuff. Could NOT pick up the taco because it fell apart when I tried. Took it back AND THEY GAVE ME ATTITUDE. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!My wife wanted to give Jalapeños another try. BEEEG MISTAKE. Go to a real Mexican restaurant like La Fortaleza. Jalapeños is not Mexican. It's something awful. Ordered steak fajita with extra tacos. Got a total of 2 tacos!!!!!!! THE TACOS WERE BURNT AND INEDIBLE. THE MEDIUM WELL STEAK WAS WELL DONE NOT MEDIUM NOR MEDIUM WELL. THE STEAK WAS TASTELESS AND OILY. WHEN I WALKED IN THE MANAGER WAS ARGUING WITH A CUSTOMER. Allison was the most helpful and quick serving server, 100% recommend this place if you want a chill vibe with great Latin music! Margarita was 10/10 and birria tacos are delicious!!

One of the best sizzling chicken fajitas I've ever had. Great ambiance and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.
