I’ve written more than one review here, probably with multiple emails, or maybe the same one. Who knows. Going on a tour de Bergen County with reviews since I no longer live in the area, and have come to find how incredibly spoiled us Bergen County folks are for the food we have access to. This place is one of them. I’ve never had pizza this good inside or outside of Bergen County. Miss this place a lot, even the lovely owners, and I stop in every trip back to get a slice that I eat straight away—because it’s the only way. Gonna have to plan another trip. Perfecto pizza. Probably can only get better in literal Italy.

something happened and this place went downhill over the years. i gave the benefit of the doubt and continue to come after multiple sub par experiences because i like to support small business in glen rock. but i'm over it. the first horrid experience was when i orders a penne chicken vodka wrap, i've had it many times before. But now, the wrap fell apart as soon as i ate it. there were multiple clumps of hard pieces of chicken, and the taste was bland. Second time i orders 2 slices to go and they were burnt to a crisp on the bottom, and all the toppings slid right off. now my last and final experience because i will never be come back was yesterday. ordered 2 slices for pick up. i opened the box and was pissed. 2 slices that can't even be called slices because they were so small. i attached a picture of them side by side and one is literally have the size of the other. not to mention the topping slid off and i only got about 2/3 bites out of each of them. I'm highly dissatisfied and disappointed at this quality of food because it used to be my favorite place , the owner is a great guy. i don't want his business to fail so please fix up your place. and your employee is standing behind the register smoking her vape as customer are at the counter. i'm all for a friendly relaxed work encipherment especially when there's teenagers operating your place but that's a bit much.

Picked up a sausage and red onion pizza and we were really happy with it. Delicious flavor and reasonably priced. Staff/counter help seemed nice. We will be back!!!

The best pizza in NJ and dare I say the NYC area. Always fresh and delicious; incredible crust. I used to body a plain, buffalo chicken, and penne slice combo. Most importantly Umberto and Patrizia are the kindest, warmest people in the world. I have many fond childhood memories of visiting John's Boys with my family and make a point to go there whenever I'm back in the area. I also treasure my red & green John's Boys shirt!!

Do you like perfectly crispy, flakey crust? Then you NEED to try out John’s Boy pizza! I tried the buffalo Stromboli and it was the BEST I have ever had hands down ?? scrumptious, and buffalo? You think burn your mouth off spice. Not this time. Flavorful with a dash of heat. the calzones are huge and flavor packed too! Check them out you won’t be disappointed ?Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options!

I came into John's Boy Pizzeria in the late afternoon and ordered a plain cheese slice. It was okay but it tasted like warmed over pizza that had been some time earlier. The slice was not as fresh as it could have been. I will have to try it again in the future to get a better judgement on the pizza.

I have traveled the world, and never found an eggplant parm as good as the one at John’s Boy. There’s no comparison, and it’s just as delicious as it was 20 years ago. Everyone who works there is so friendly too. Such a good pizza joint overall. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in NJ.
