An absolute gem. This restaurant can make sushi and good Chinese with great prices. I've been coming here for years.

$@&&ing love this place. Pick up times are shorter if you call versus using the app. Service is always fast and friendly. Food is fresh and flavorful. We’ve tried other places and don’t even consider them anymore. This is our got to for Chinese and sushi.

Updating my review to say that: The owners are strong supporters of our local community. I’ve witnessed them always adding in something extra for our first responders. Similarly, customer loyalty is reciprocated in big ways every time we visits. Thank you Yama!

I would advise that you skip out on getting food from here. Not only was the quality of the chicken in two different dishes horrible and greasy, I got so incredibly sick after eating this. The food was contaminated or undercooked and it gave me food poisoning. The worst food poisoning I have ever had. I hate to leave a bad review but this was truly such an awful experience and led me to the emergency room.

We recently moved into town and was craving fried rice and chicken broccoli, so I decided to try out a spot down the road—and it did not disappoint! The food was super fresh, making it my new go-to lunch spot. They also offer sushi options, which is a nice bonus. Plus, their delivery service is quick and reliable. Highly recommend!

Been living in Hawthorne for 7 years and just about gave up on finding good Chinese food. This place is not good, it’s AMAZING!! Food is so fresh and it’s always consistent. The shrimp and broccoli is the best I’ve ever had! Gigantic shrimp cooked to perfection! And delivery is always exactly on time and still hot!! I’m thrilled I didn’t give up!!

Ordered from here each day during early voting. Yhe sushi is good. My only complaint it wasnt rolled tight enough as it would fall apart when picking up.

Great food, especially for the low prices. The lunch special is a really good deal. I’m giving 4 stars because the beef had a slightly odd taste, but everything else was spot-on. Will definitely be back to try more!

I had my first visit to Yama Sushi Bar & Chinese Food, and it was a delightful experience! The flavors were vibrant and authentic, with the Orange Chicken and Beef with Broccoli standing out as highlights. All of the dishes were fresh and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Chinese cuisine!
